Remember when I said Carson's friendships didn't last long? Yeah. . ."You want a drink?" Lexi asked as they walked into the party together, with the rest of their friends in front of them.
"Sure." Carson smiled softly.
"I'll be right back." Lexi squeezed Carson's hand before letting go to get both of them a drink.
Carson looked around and she started to feel uncomfortable, but took a deep breath so she didn't freak out again.
She didn't want to be known as a crazy person. She wanted to perfect. She needed to be perfect.
Cassie came over with a huge smile on her face. "Come dance with me!"
"I have to wait for Lexi!" Carson shouted so Cassie would be able to hear her over the loud music.
"She's be fine! Come on!" Cassie held out her hand for the girl to take and after a few seconds of debating, Carson grabbed Cassie's hand.
They both moved into the large crowd dancing and began dancing, each of them taking turns spinning each other.
While they were dancing and laughing, Lexi watched the two as she held two drinks.
Lexi gulped before shoving both drinks into someone's hand and rushed out of the living room.
"Why are you so nice to me?!" Cassie shouted as she smiled only making Carson smile back.
"You're my friend." Carson shouted back.
"I know, but it feels different." Cassie responded.
"Different?" Carson raised a brow as a laugh left her mouth.
Cassie rolled her eyes and shoved Carson playfully. "Don't laugh!"
"Sorry." Carson grinned. "I just think you don't know how perfect you are and someone needs to tell you that."
Cassie smiled. "Come with me!" Cassie grabbed her hand before Carson could answer and dragged her into an empty room.
The two girls laugh as they fell onto the bed causing them to spill the drinks they had.
"Oh no!" Cassie whined as she laughed even more.
"I'm sorry." Carson laughed as she used her hand to wipe the alcohol off of Cassie's collarbone.
Carson's laughing calmed down as she looked up to see Cassie already looking at her.
