Clarke's POV
I start heading back to camp, the walk doesn't take long, but as I'm approaching the camp I hear shouting.
"Shit, do you think the grounder got her?" Finn's voice asks loudly.
"I don't know, all I know is she was right behind me, and then all of a sudden she was gone!" Wells yells and it occurs to me who they're talking about. Octavia's pacing, freaking out.
"Well, we can't just leave her out there. Bell, we have to go find her!" O yells at her brother, who has his arms crossed, and a smug grin on his face. I think I'm going to hang back for a second and see where this is going.
"Hey, one less princess, one less problem for me once the asshats in the sky get down here. Now if only they could take the prince."
"Bellamy!" Octavia scoffs.
"This isn't a joke dude, you think that Abi won't kill you if she knows you left Clarke for dead?" Finn warns, clearly concerned.
"For that matter, you think I won't." Wells practically growls, lunging forward. Oh crap! I can't let him kill Bellamy... as nice as that would be.
"Woah, guys!" I shout, running over and practically leaping between Bellamy and Wells. "Miss me that much?" I can't help but roll my eyes, though I know there's a slight smirk playing on my lips. Suddenly, there's a tight crushing force around me as Wells immediately wraps me up in a hug.
"Oh thank the gods, I thought you were dead." He exclaims.
"Clarke!" Octavia runs over and the second Wells lets go of me she jumps on me, squishing the air out of my lungs.
"Guys, I need to breathe!" I manage to break free of Octavia's death-like grip and they both step back, smiling widely.
"Sorry," O mutters, smiling. Then she smacks me in the arm. "What the hell were you doing? You scared the shit out of us!"
"Yeah, you all seemed real worried about me." I scowl at Bellamy whose smug grin is slowly taken over by worry when he realizes what all I overheard.
"Well us three at least," Finn adds, gesturing to him, O, and Wells.
"We didn't find anything." Wells sighs, looking at Octavia who groans in frustration.
"Hold on there, ye of little faith," I smirk, tossing Wells the seaweed from my pocket. His face lights up, a huge grin taking over.
"Shit, you found it!" Wells exclaims so loudly I think I'm deaf in one ear now.
"Nice work." Finn grins, giving me a nod.
"Where was it?" Wells asks, giving Finn a slight glare, though I'm not sure why. I'm mad at him too, for siding with Bellamy and not wanting to help Jasper, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. Guys are so weird.
"The river where Octavia was attacked... I remembered seeing it there." I quickly come up with a lie, I have no idea why I'm protecting Lexa, but here we are. For some reason, I feel the need to cover for her. "Now come on, we don't have much time. Wells, I need you to brew that into a tea, O you're with me." I start off towards the dropship, knowing the others are right behind, minus Bellamy... probably. Quickly, I climb up the metal rungs of the ladder, before sliding over to Jasper, kneeling down next to him.
"I've been trying to keep his fever down." Octavia sighs, sitting next to me. "It's bad isn't it?" Her words falter for a minute, a mix of sadness and disappointment in her voice.
"Yeah, but I've seen people come back from worse O, he'll be ok."
"How can you be so sure?" She asks.
