I laughed "What? what's so funny ink?" he looked at me confused. "Pfffft- Dream your face is a mess!" "Huh?" he looked into a mirror "Ah geez-" i gave him a tissue, Dream thanked me and wiped the left-over chocolate off from earlier "Better now?" "Yeppo!" he smiled a little "Geez your so energetic ink" "Is that supposed to be a compliment?" i smiled "Maybe~" i playfully hit him "Pfft why thank you~" we both laughed.
Third POV
The two best friends laughed at their jokes "Okay okay i got one dream!" "Spill" "Why did the chicken cross the road?" "Why?" "To get to the handsome guys house, knock knock" "Hm.. who's there?" "The chicken!" Dream tried to process it then realized "Oh! pfft aww thank you ink" he smiled "Why it's the truth~" they both laughed and continued to joke around.

The star sanses fought the "villains" also known as the bad sanses, the stars won once again "Whoo! that was exhausting..." Dream drank water "Pfft you look hot like that dreamy~" Ink flirted and Swap looked at ink "Ew ink!" the guardian laughed as he playfully hit the protector "Oh no! i'm hurt~" he said playfully, Swap facepalmed at ink's idiocity.
You idiot....
Dream looked at ink 'What are these feelings..?' he thought, he kept getting butterflies whenever he was with ink. They've been best friends for a year, ink noticed him zoning off "Dream you okay?" "Huh?!- oh i'm fine ink" he blushed a bit " 'Kay if you say so!" The protector continued rambling about drawing.
Why did you have to leave..?
"Ink i have something to tell you..." "Oh what's up dream?" The guardian took a deepbreath then continued "I think.. i like you.. no more like, i love you!" The protector was speechless, he was like that for 10 minutes "Uh.. ink..?" Ink blinked for a bit before replying "Dream.... you already know that i'm soulless." "Well yeah but-" "Dream. i can't love... i'm sorry this is for your own good" he then left, and before Dream knew it tears was streaming down his face. Yeah rejection is quite a hit on people "I see...."

The two continued being best friends, looks like ink forgot about what happened yesterday. Dream continued smiling but... it's just fake, it's hard to move on from rejections am i right? i forgot to mention, the truce happened.

A month passed by, Dream couldn't move on. ink started to act weird..? the other stars didn't pay much attention to it "Hey ink!" The protector didn't respond and looked at dream with an expresionless face "Oh did you loose your vials again? hm.. oh here!" Dream immediately found the vials and gave it to Ink "Well.. i'll be leaving now :)" He left....
The protector didn't take the vials. For some reason he dissapeared withour a trace for 3 months. Swap and Dream looked for ink everywhere without rest well...only dream didn't get a rest "Dream please you need to sleep... atleast just for today?" The guardian looked at him with tired eyes, he had eyebags under his socket "No... i can't give up..!" Swap sighed, he kept trying to make him sleep but to no avail it was all useless, seems like Dream is still inlove with Ink.
He found him... HE FINALLY-
"Ink..? where have you-" The protector looked at him, emotionless "Dream. you haven't gave up?" "..Yes" "....Why" "Because.. your my frien!-" "Friend? dream. you still love me, the signs are obvious and the others already gave up" "...." He hugged ink and slapped him "YOU IDIOT WHERE DID YOU GO?!" Tears streamed down his face, the other was speechless "Plesse don't leave.... don't leave me again.." The protector felt bad... wait 'felt'? "Huh... ink there's something glowing in you.." It was... a soul? Ink suddenly felt something get thrown at the back at his skull, he turned around to see floating words saying 'I got you an artificial soul, be careful as it is a fragile one. i cannot give you a strong as it does not fit you.'
The protector cried "I'm so sorry for leaving!" he hugged the guardian back, both friends cried together. "I love you dream..." the other looked shocked and kissed him "I love you too..."
