' New mission! '

It was a fine day and after a 1 day break, the demon slayer corps were ready to get new missions

Kanao and tanjiro were talking to each other as usual until they heard the 'Kasugai crows' announcing their mission together.

'' TANJIRO KAMADO, KANAO TSUYURI . HERE IS YOUR MISSION. MAKE YOUR WAY TO 'KAGARAGI MANSION'. RUMOURS SAID THAT THERE'S A DEMON LURKING THERE, DEMON SLAYER CORPS HAVE BEEN THERE BUT NEVER CONTACTED OR GOT BACK.' It shouted, and left fast to announce the missions for other members.

Tanjiro and Kanao got ready and made their way to 'Kagaragi Mansion'

( Tanjiro said goodbye to Nezuko and his friends before leaving )

- Once they understood the information about 'Kagaragi Mansion', they started dressing up, they wore elegant dresses that the 'Kakushi' gave before they left.

They both were looking around outside the entrance of the mansion, only to see that couples were not allowed which they knew they would misunderstand them as a couple. So they pretended to be siblings.

Luckily, they got inside and sensed the demon around the mansion.

- They spotted 2 hallways where tanjiro smelled a scent in both of those -

' Kanao, go to the hallway on the right and I'll head towards the left ' said Tanjiro.

*Kanao nodded*

Tanjiro's POV:

' There's a basement there, I'll have to sneak inside quietly or else the guards will see me '

-Guards look to Tanjiro's side

' Oh no, they spotted me! '

-Guards went to Tanjiro and questioned him

' Uh- WELL- you see- I was l-l-l- lost.. '

- Tanjiro couldn't keep a straight face. Whenever he lies he makes a weird face which he cannot avoid when lying because lying isn't his nature.

" The Guards grabbed Tanjiro but before they could a Demon broke out of the basement, desiring
to turn the guards and Tanjiro into girls. "

" The Demon turned the guards into girls with it's drug that if it's on someone's skin, they turn into their opposite gender."

' HAHAHAHA... This is so fun~ I can't wait to eat these delicious humans that turned into women~ Male humans are despicable and taste disgusting.' Said by a Male Demon

-The Demon looks at Tanjiro and tries to put the liquid drug on him but manages to dodge-

' Haha! Well would you look at that I can sense you're a demon slayer, you'll be delicious but you're a boy. SO ALLOW ME TO TURN YOU INTO A WOMAN ' said the demon to tanjiro, chuckling.

" Tanjiro starts to unsheathe
his sword "

' Water breathing, first form, Water surface slash! '

-Demon dodges-

' Hah! Nice move but it's not enough for a Kanoe rank like you!

Back to Kanao*

Kanao's POV:

" I've checked the hallway but didn't see any demons or unusual things there. "

*Senses Tanjiro's danger*

" Tanjiro is in danger.. Should I help or continue to explore... I know! I should decide by flipping a coin.. "

*Flashback of Tanjiro convincing her to follow her heart and make her own decisions*

" I've decided to go help Tanjiro! "

Back to tanjiro,

" Tanjiro notices Kanao running towards here "

' Kanao! Be careful he might turn you into a boy!

'' While the demon saw them planning something he decided to take the chance to splash the drug liquid on him but before he could,

Kanao tried to push back the liquid using her breathing technique but she couldn't completely blow it back, some of the liquid landed on her but she was still fine."

' Aw, how sweet, but what a waste of the liquid I worked hard on! It was supposed to land on the boy but instead you protected your boyfriend! the demon said making both Kanao and Tanjiro got flustered for a moment but they snapped back to trying to defeat the demon. '

After all the forms and techniques used Tanjiro was close to cutting it's head but she got the drug liquid on her but didn't notice and was able to cut it's head off.

' We did it Kanao! Let's report this back to the others and we need to get to the Butterfly Mansion to tell them you got hit by the liquid ' said by tanjiro.

Kanao agreed and they headed back to the Butterfly Mansion.

" Tanjiro started to feel weird but he thought nothing of it"

" Kanao also started to feel like she's getting taller which she was confused about "

- When they got to the Butterfly Mansion they both spoke to Aoi and Shinobu after getting bandaged up-

' Ah! So it seems the liquid turns you into a different gender? Interesting.. It isn't happening to you both yet but when did you guys get hit by the liquid? Shinobu asked.'

' Well, from what I've remembered kanao got hit around an hour ago, she's not turning into one yet so what does that mean? Tanjiro answered. '

' Well, from the answer I've observed, it depends on how much liquid went on to you to tell how much time is left for you to turn into opposite genders. Shinobu answered, making Tanjiro understand and worry '

' Sh- shinobu sama, if I turn into our opposite gender, is it possible to turn back into our original gender? ' Kanao asked while worrying.

' Ara-ara good question! Well, I'm still researching whether you will be permanently like that or will not be. So please wait patiently as I announce it once I've found the answer! Meanwhile, it's already evening and you both should get some rest, tell us if you need anything! ' Shinobu said calmly. '

We both thanked Shinobu and Aoi for taking their time to talk to us, we headed back to our rooms afterwards.

Tanjiro's POV:

" I noticed Nezuko awake, waited for me to come back so I went to her and greeted her "

' Hi Nezuko! Sorry I took long, I'm gonna sleep now, wake me up if you need anything ok? '

' Mm-mmm ! Nezuko said and Tanjiro understood that she said yes. '

' Alright, Good night Nezuko! '

( Tanjiro slept peacefully that night )

-It was early in the morning when Tanjiro was prepared for another day for missions, he felt weird and felt like his chest was heavy and felt curvier, lighter, and shorter. He also noticed that his hair grew longer down to his armpits and ran to look in the mirror and what he saw shook him to the core that he screamed.-
