Welcome to Heart of Thieves. I'd firstly like to thank you for giving my story a chance, and taking the time to read it. I appreciate it more than you know.
This story was originally written with the idea that it was going to be a novella for an entry to OpenNovellaContest of 2022. But as the plot progressed, and as I grew more attached towards the characters I had so dearly came to enjoy writing—I just couldn't let go of it too soon.
With that said, Heart of Thieves entails a lot of dangerous politics, ominous rulers, injustice towards opposing kingdoms, and flawed characters who may face the consequences of their decisions, all with the aim to just survive.
I must make a note here that although we're only getting started with the world I've created, some chapters may not be for the faint. Please be aware that some contents may include coarse language, dark themes such as gore, and violence. Further warnings will be applied where necessary.
