Rose's pov

"Damien" his name rolled out from my tongue before I could stop myself.

"Damien leave her hand right now" Ehshan warned and the realization hit me hard.

Beg me to fuck you more little butterfly...

he said as he shoved his gun in my mouth.

Panic that's all I felt rising up In my chest, filling my lungs, making it almost impossible to breathe.

"Oh fuck" I heard Alex's voice before I was engulfed in a hug.

"NO rose, it's just a nightmare please come back, look around you are safe" I heard a voice making me snap out of it.

"I.. I am sorry"

"you don't have to be"

"Ehshan get out of here" Mom glared at him.

"NO mom it's fine he is just concerned for me" I said and ehshan stormed off.

I sighed and turned towards damien who was already looking at me, I forgot that everyone was staring at both of us and just got lost in studying his beautiful facial features,

"Thank you" I said and he gave me genuine smile reassuring me that he'll be there anytime.

I sat on my bed as damiens face, his voice, his actions, how he protects me just circled in my mind.

"he is a decent guy" I whispered to myself as I stared at the ceiling till I fell asleep immersed in my thoughts.

I grabbed my novel and ordered for a cup of coffee before going to the terrace, I stopped dead in my tracks as I heard someone talking, I assume they were in the gazebo at the corner of the terrace.

"I can't let her do such a huge mistake, she is emotional, super emotional, emotional fool of I might add" Ehshan said and I gasped squinting my eyes, ready to go smack him.

"But she still is her own individual person, I told you yesterday and I'll tell you the same thing today, if you force her for something she does not want to do, there'll be no difference between the child's father and you" and I knew this was damiens voice.

"He is right ehshan, she is our baby sister, she'll always be a tiny little baby rose for us but you have to accept now that she is all grown up and has the right to make her own decisions"

"I don't care if I end up losing our friendship but I will stand by rose and her decision not you and your force" damien said and I smiled before jogging downstairs.

I finished reading the novel to dad, I know he must be hating some stupid teen romance but I hope he gets so bored that he has to wake up in order to tell me to shut up.

I kissed his forehead and left for my room.

"ouch" I rubbed my arm.

"Why are you so clumsy always falling and bumping into something?" he asked and I looked up in shock...

"Dam...Damien...umm....ahem....hii"

"well it's time for my bye so..." he said and I nodded making him leave.

"umm damien..." I called out as he was about to step out of the door and he walked back towards me.

"yes sunshine" He asked and I think I blushed I have no idea why.

"Thank you, for supporting me" I said but my eyes widened in surprise as he closed the distance between us making me stare down at my feet in nervousness.

"I'll always be there for you my little rose" he said in a whisper, I could feel his breath on my ear.

"I would have tucked this behind your ear but I don't want you to have another panic attack" he said as he twirled my stray strand of hair with his finger.

What he did next shocked me even more,

he blew gently on face making my hair fly away from my face and winked at me as he left while I stood there confused and awestruck.

"Hey where were you?" Alex asked as he stood up from my bed.

"Hey I was with dad, why is everything okay?"

"yeah it is just wanted to talk to you sit" he said making me sit on the bed and draped his hand around my shoulder and just as a reflex i instantly rested my head on his shoulder, I loved this feeling, Alex always made me feel so loved and protected.

"So you have made the final decision?" he asked and I rolled my eyes trying to stand up and get away from him.

"Not again and not you too" I muttered.

"Hey hey stop I won't be going all mama mode on you like eshshan" he said as he pulled me back on the bed.

"I just came to say that I'll be with you no matter what" Alex said kissing my forehead.

"Alex?"

"Hmm?"

"yoh said damien disappeared, where was he? what happened and why is he back now?"

"hmmm well, his parents were Russian mafias who were killed by their rivals, they were after him, and he didn't want us to be under their list so he disappeared and now he is safe so he is back" Alex said.

"You don't have to worry he is just like our family there is no harm from him, you can trust him" he said before kissing my forehead once more.

"am i at the wrong time like am I disturbing your brother-sister time ?" mom asked and Alex nodded in a no, I was just leaving.

"Honey we need to talk"

"hehe what is it why does everyone wants to talk to me"

"I won't beat around the bush"

"okay....?"

"What's going on between you and damien?"
