Sweet Aftermath

Chapter 4

I don't remember the last time I'm was this excited hor a party and that says a lot since I went to a lot of parties.Luka and I have been talking everyday.His texts are the highlight of my day.

"Which dress should I wear.The yellow, orange one or the black one.Felix are you listening to me."I ask snapping my fingers infront of him.

"Brat you turned your closet upside down and raided your closet to find anm you said and i quote the perfect dress. Are you sure it's not a date.You would not even take this much time to search for an outfit for a date.Just pick a dress for god's sake woman."

"Yeah, I think I will go with the black and blue one.And it's not a date it's party. And your coming either me remember.''

"Come on let's go."I say throwing my purse at him.

"About damn time I've been  waiting for hours."

We went downstairs and gave the driver the address.

"You never told me lover boy is a pirate."Felix mumbles.

"He is not a pirate.Now let's go inside."I answered smiling.

My smile instantly turned into a frown when i see Luka talking to Zoe.Mostly everyone from school there.Maybe i should leave.i was about to turn around and leave but it was too late as i can see Luka coming my way.

"Plush you made it.Looking good."Luka says kissing my forehead which took me off guard.

Chloe unknowingly smiled at his nickname for her 'Plush'.He came up with that nickname when she was talking about mr.Cuddly her bear Plush which she had since she was a child.

"How many times do I have to tell you do not call me Plush.And don't I always look good."I say doing a twirl to show off my dress.

It's a black Chanel mini dress paired with sandals.

"you look good too"i say eyeing his ripped jeans.

Out of nowhere Felix starts fake coughing but ends up sounding like he's choking on air.

"Anyways,Luka this is Felix and Felix this is Luka."I watch as they shake hands.

"Nice to meet you Felix."Luka greets to which Felix answers "Break her heart and it won't be nice to meet me"

"Felix" i snap.

"I meant it"Felix emphasizes.

"Hey,Luka Zoe is searching for you Marinette interupts.

"What is she doing here "Marinette asks.

"Oh hey Marinette,I see you already know Plush I mean Chloe and this is Felix her friend."Luka says clearly not sensing the tension.

"I know who Felix is but what is this bi-"she gets cut off by Felix.

"I would not finish that sentence if I was you" Felix says in a low threatening voice.

"I second that" adds in Luka."I do  not appreciate you talking to my friend like that."

"Yeah Dupain-Cheng.You better listen to them."I say getting infront of Felix.

"Anyways don't forget Zoe is looking for you"Marinette says before walking away clearly annoyed.

The party went well except for times where Zoe would butt in my conversations with Luka but he would just tell her he is busy and continues to talk to me.Marinette would just gave me a terrible impression of a  death stare the whole party.Surprisingly Luka and Felix got along.

A few hours later I'm leaning on the rail watching the sunset as everyone leaves whe Luka stands next to me.

"Plush what are you doing here."he asks.

"Just watching the sunset it's beautiful from here."I reply.

"Yeah it is beautiful" he says while looking at me and i feel my cheeks heat.

"You know you have a nickname for me and i don't have one for you.How about Rockstar."

"I love it Plush."he says tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

''Luka'' Zoe yells from a distance which makes m roll my eyes.

I should " must be waiting for to leave.Bye,"I  say before walking away.

"Bye Plush."
