¨I hate you!!!¨ You hear your mom say to your dad. ¨Oh yeah? Well i wish you were dead!¨ You hear your dad say to your mom.
There fighting. Again. Anoyed you go to your room and slam the door as hard as possible. ¨Why can't i have normal parents like everyone else¨ You say to yourself as you open your phone. Its full of texts and messages from your friends, asking where you are.
You were going to hang out with them, but you overheard them talking about you. ¨Everleigh is soo anoying¨ Clara said.¨Yeah i know right?¨ Said Ayla. ¨She is probably the reason her mom and dad are getting a divorce hahaha, If they dont kill each other first¨ Said Katherine.
That last one really hurt. Not just because Katherine was your best friend, or so you thought, But because your parents have been fighting all the time lately, And it feels like your invisible at home. You only told Katherine about your parents and how you feel, and it really hurts seeing her talk like that about your secrets. She was supposed to be your bestfriend. Not anymore.
you put on harry potter, and imagine that your best friends with luna lovegood and hermione granger. they have always been your favorite. movies help you escape the world. it makes you feel not so alone anymore. you watch some other movies that you like, and you fall asleep.
you wake up to loud screeming, but you dont think much of it, since your parents fight all the time. ¨Could you please keep it down, there are people trying to sleep here!¨ you yell. like they even heard you. 5:38. Its way to early to get up, but sleeping wont work either. you decide to go watch a movie, spiderman homecoming, but your disney + account doesn't work. ¨thats strange¨ you mumble as you try netflix. no succes. you go downstairs. ¨ mom my tv does weird, i cant watch any movies¨you complain to your mom. ¨ Yes 'mom', why cant we watch any movies?¨ your dad says. ¨oh so its my fault you had to buy a new car?¨ your mom says angrerly. ¨well at least im nor the one that buys desiner clothes only¨ your dad says even angrier. ¨can you tell me what the hell is going on here!¨ you yell.
your parents stare at you blankly. youve never yelled at them before. ¨Everleigh, uhm¨ your mom stambles. ¨were in debt, we cant afford netflix or disney+. were also gonna sell your tv.¨ your dad says ashamed. you yell: ¨ WHAT?! I HATE YOU! I HATE ALL OF YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH!! YOU GIVE ME SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, NO PEACE AT HOME AND THEN THIS?!¨ you walk away with tears in your eyes.
first your parents are fighting the whole time, then your 'bestfriend' turns out to be a witch and now they also take away the ONLY thing left in the world that could make you feel a little better. you pack your stuff. your so fed up with everyone, tonight, when your parents are sleeping, your gonna run away.
