CHAPTER 17

Jace's POV

We sat together while my bitch of a teacher continued with the class ,Reed's hand rested on my thigh as i wrote .The class soon ended and we both walked out "Babe I'm hungry "I whine 

"i found this new place come on " I smile and follow him .

We get in the jeep and he drives ,once we arrive i am swept of my feet the restaurant was huge with red doors that had black and gold decorations ."come on "
"does this place have like a dress code " I say in awe 

"love i own it "
"but you said you found this new place "
"uh uh and i bought it "
"wow it look amazing but the food smells even more delicious"

We walk to the private booth that was dim lighted and the waiter arrived   "what do you want?" Reed  asked holding the menu "umm can we have a moment i am not sure "
"ok mam " he walks away while i look at the menu 

Everything here was exotic ,things i haven't even heard of "Reed this place is so high i don't even know what i want or what the food is " I say trying not to be rude 
"we can leave "
"noo i like it its just that ...ok tell me what the meals are because these names are gonna kill my last braincells "
"do you have something in mind like a type of food "
"how about a taste of  Mexican" I smirk and he chuckles 
"i don't want to scare you so I'll list something simple"
"Ok"
"there is Paella "
"whats in it ?"
"chicken ,rice and vegetables but fried and a bit more "
"ok I'll have that " He calls the waiter 

"get us a Paella and a Gazpacho "
"anything else ?"
"oh do you guys have milkshakes ?"
"yes "
"ok I'll have a large chocolate milkshake "
"your order will be out soon "
"get me a Gin " He nods and walks away leaving us alone but Reed is stuck to his phone .

"Reed "
"yea"
"is this a date ?"
"no we are just eating " he says typing into his phone 

I pull out my phone and see a text from my mum .I move away from Reed and phone her .

"hey mum "
"hey baby "
"I'm missing you "
"we miss you to Jace "
"how's dad?"
"he is good he is working as always "
"OH ok "
"and you baby how is school ?"
"really tiring "
"I'm sorry baby ....oh I'll talk to you later i have to just get this delivery "
"ok bye love you "
"love you "

I walk back to Reed and see him on his phone talking in Spanish. I ignore him and sit down waiting for the food which soon arrives .I dig in and wow was this tasty .Reed carries on talking on the phone so i just ignore him .

I was halfway done with my food but he was now texting and he didn't touch his food nor his drink .This was really starting to anger me .

I was now drinking my milkshake and going through my phone when i got a call from a old friend "Franis oh my god its been so long "
"yeah girl so i am in town and i really wanna see you ,you have to meet this girl i met "
"oh for sure tomorrow at 5"
"yess see you then babe"
"you to sexy "
"oh please "

He laughs before hanging up ,i was about to tell Reed and the call but i see him now staring at me "what ?"
"who was that ?"
"a friend "
"Jace that was a guy and i don't think you call your friend who is a guy sexy "
"please don't"
"don't what ?"
"start a problem ,he is my old friend and he wants to meet so stop this act "
"you are not seeing him "
"Reed I'll fucking kill you right here don't you dare think for a second that you can rule my life and choices "
"i can and will "

Before i knew it my hand was stinging ,i smacked him "don't you ever say that shit to me again "
I say and grab my bag and walk out .I haul a cab and go to my dorm in tears .Why the fuck did i smack him ? he has all the resources to kill me as i bruised his ego and now he is gonna kill me forsure 

I reach home and lock the doors ,i let out a sigh of relief .
