CHAPTER 30

Jace's POV 

I finally reach home and i see an unfamiliar car in the driveway ,i walk in and hear mum and dad laughing and an all to familiar voice . I walk toward the lounge and see Reed sitting in my lounge sipping a cup of tea with my parents ,

"Jaceee my baby " mum grabs me in a tight hold 
"hey mom " I greet hugging her while staring daggers at Reed 
"hey my girl "
"hi dad"

I sit on the couch opposite Reed 
"so Jace why didn't you tell us about Reed huh" mom asks me with a sly smile 
"huhuhuh um what did he tell you ?" My body became  a whole fucking nervous wreck how could i just tell my parents 

'oh mum dad ,Reed here is my boyfriend who i love and yes he runs the most powerful mafia and he kills people '

How dumb can he be ,i wanted to hit him so hard then kill him with his own gun ,"well love i was telling them that you are my girlfriend and that i am your boyfriend " he speaks so calmly
"but babe i thought we agreed to tell them after a year which was almost done " I speak through my teeth 
"you guys should talk privately " mum says catching on to the tension .

Mum and dad leave the lounge and i look at him " lets take  a drive " i say and he nods .We get into his car ,one i didn't know he even owns   and he starts the car "REED YOU JACKASS YOU CANNOT JUST SHOW UP LIKE THIS AND TELL THEM YOU ARE MY BOYFRIEND WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WERE YOU EVEN THINKING " he just looks ahead 

"this is your punishment for not telling me were you were going "
"YOU ASSHOLE YOU AREN'T SOME NORMAL PERSON TO BRING HOME INCASE YOU DON'T KNOW THAT " he stops the car and the seat belt holds me back from flying through the glass 

"stop screaming for no reason  or would you like me to give you a reason to ?" He looks at me but with those siren eyes that makes my panties wet .

"sorry but you know this is a mess"
"and how is that ?"
"because Reed you are not normal"
"Jace even if i am not normal you are stuck with me till death ,i am gonna fucking marry you oneday and killing isn't the only thing i do ,i do have a business and i have more than enough money to keep you happy "
"money isn't all"
"tell me what is then ?"
"having your love even when shit feels like its gonna consume you "
"i..i..am i am sorry i know how i acted yesterday was wrong but i just don't know but i swear I'll stop I'll stop my ranting and anger issues "
"promise " I stick out my thumb (its our little thing )
"promise " our thumbs touch and he leans in kissing me 

"Are you staying ?"
"nope i am only here for the day "
"okay then we will leave together "
"okay"

 We spend the day with my parents and I told them how we really met but i left out the parts  about his mafia and moreeeee . I told them about the businesses he owns and they were impressed, by the end of the day they had already told Reed that he is welcome anytime ,they loved him just as much as i do .
