Jace's POV
It's been a hour since i smacked Reed and now i don't feel scared i feel more guilty than anything else . I know he means good but sometimes he can just be really arrogant and it upsets me .
I take of my clothes and step into the bathroom, i let the hot water run before letting it wet me . I apply the body wash and scrub my self with my nails ,sounds weird but i feel nice when i feel the marks burn under the steaming water .
I wash the soap and foam of and wrap my self with a towel stepping out .My breathe catches in my throat when i see Reed sit on my bed with his elbows resting on his knees ,Fear awoke in me yes i did have feelings for him but i still can't ignore the fact that he makes money from killing people ."Jace i am sorry ,i just have a lot going on and i know i haven't been paying attention to you but i swear i have a reason for it ."
Once again this man proves why i should be with him and only him . "Reed i am sorry for hitting you i know that was wrong and i am so sorry " He stands up and rushes to me hugging me tightly "you can always hit me i don't care i just can't lose you ."
"i am still sorry "
"are you still meeting up with that guy ?"
"yes Reed he is not like you think "
"i am coming with "
"what !.......ugh fine "
"i need a kiss "
"that i can happily give you my big tatted baby " I smile and step on my tippy toes kising him softly and sweetly .
"were you scared ?" H e asks resting his head on my forehead
"yes "
"I'll never ever hurt you Jace no matter what "
"i know no i just i am bound to be scared you know that "
"i don't blame you "
We sit on the bed soon after i change which of course he enjoyed ,he tells me what has been going on during these days and it was going really bad twenty-six of his men are dead all because someone hacked their ships .
"what if we use a different approach ?"
"Like ?"
"well you know its one of the countries you are in a partnership with so lets make them confess "
"jace it isn't that easy "
"i know but lets try "
"tell me what you have in mind "
