Chapter 11: Say Yes or No

Josie's POV

I stared at his hopefull green eyes. I chewed my bottom lip and sighed. He licked his lips and I smiled.

"Yes." I said as he smiled.

"Really?" He asked as I nodded.

"Really." I said as he smiled. He hugged me and his phone buzzed. He let go and went to his phone. He frowned and looked back at me.

"What?" I asked as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the car.

"What's wrong?" I asked as he speed down the road. I gribbed onto the handle bars and he pushed his foot on the petal. I bit my lip and saw we was driving to his house. I saw Mike and his brother, with his four siblings. Maria was hiding behind Leonardo, and Lacey was holding onto Mikey.

"Stay away from them you bastard." Ace yelled as he ran out of the car. I got out and Mike smirked at me.

"Why? We was just talking." Mike said.

"You lieing asshole!" Mikey yelled as Leonardo walked out and grabbed onto Mikey other arm. Maria yelped and hide behind me. I sighed and held onto to her.

"Your not aloud to be here without a lawyer or permission from the judge. Other wise the case could be drop." I said as Mike glared at me. He walked over and was about two inches away from my face.

"Your not to be a nerd. You know that." Mike hissed as he raised his hand. Next thing I knew, he was on the ground. Ace jumped on him!

"Don't you ever touch her!" Ace yelled as he grabbed his collar, and punched him in the face.

"Ace!" Lacey yelled as she ran over to the fighting boys. I walked over and grabbed Ace's shoulders.

"Ace! Stop it!" I yelled as Mike slapped me. I gasped and pulled back. I covered my cheek, and Ace widened his eyes. He turned towards me and his eyes turn darker. He jumped on Mike and grabbed his collar. Ace punched Mike in the face, repeatly. He got up and lift Mike off the ground. He punched him in the gut and threw him down.

"I told you not to touch her!" Ace yelled as he jumped on him, and punched him again. I gasped and Leonardo held me back. He shooked his head, and Mikey rushed over and grabbed Ace and slung him off. He grabbed Mike and threw him in his car. He slammed the door and grabbed Ace and dragged him in the house.

I sat on the couch and Maria rasied a cool pack to my cheek. I hissed slighty and saw Ace walked upstairs. I bit my lip and got up. I walked after him, and saw him looking at the wall, infront of his bed.

I knocked on the door, and he turned towards me. His green eyes shined with cofusion, hurt, and love. I smiled and walked over to him. I sat down and he smiled at me.

"Are you okay?" He asked as I sighed and smiled.

"I'm fine. Are you?" I asked him with an raised eyebrow. He looked at me, and looked down at my hand. He sighed and shrugged.

Ace's POV

"I'm fine. Are you?" Josie asked me with an raised eyebrow. I looked at her, and looked down at her hand. I sighed adn shrugged.

Am I really okay? I mean, none of this would have happen if I didn't take the dare. Maybe Mikey wouldn't have this law suit. Maybe I wouldn't have to beat Mike everyday. Maybe I wouldn't be so confused. 

Then again, I wouldn't feel so empty. I wouldn't feel so alone. I wouldn't be the bad boy everyone is scared of. I wouldn't be the bad boy who had barely nobody. I wouldn't be the who beats anyone up for nothing.

"I'm fine." I lied. I mean I don't even know if I am. I mean, Josie is the one who broke my walls. Josie is the one who made me feel things. Josie is the one who didn't leave, she did but still. She stayed and she changed me.

"Ace you can't lie to yourself. It's not right, nor will it be ever right." Josie said as her accent flowed through my ears. I turned towards her and laced my hand into hers.

"Josie, your never gonna leave me right?" I asked her as she smiled.

"No." She said as I smiled.

"You'll never think I'm stupid for doing this." I said as she raised her eyebrow at me.

"No, why?" She asked as I took a deep breath.

"Cause of this." I said as I pressed my lips to hers. She gasped and she kissed me back. Her lips moved with mine. Sparks hit me, butterflies filled my stomach, and my heart is beating around 500 miles per second. If you want one word to describe it, well here it is. Woah. 

I pulled apart and she opened her brown eyes and stared into my green eyes. She opened her mouth but shut it quickly. I blinked and she looked down at our hands.

"What was that for?" She asked as I looked down at our hands.

"I don't know." I said as our eyes met.

"Do you like me?" Josie asked as my brain was clicking an answer. My heart was beating fast, should I take that as a yes? I mean, what if it's a no. You know what, forget it.

"Yes, I like you." I said as she blushed. She mumbled something and I raised my eyebrow.

"What?" I asked her.

"I like you too." She said as I smiled.

"Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" I asked her as she widened her eyes.
