Staying at the Matthews for Christmas was going to be fun.
Maya thought. She was already there sorting and opening ornements with Riley. Then Josh Matthews walked in! "Boing" Maya said pointing to Josh. "That's my uncle, Maya." Riley replied. "Sweet I would be your aunt!"Maya smirked.
Josh's POV
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a girl sitting with Riley. "Joshie!" Auggie shouted running at me. "Auggie!" I yelled back lifting him onto my shoulders. "I love it up here!" Auggie exclaimed.
I loved Auggie but I needed to meet that girl. I bent over making Auggie face plant into the chair.
"Uncle Josh!" Riley said coming to hug me. "Riley!" I said. During the hug I looked over and recegnized the girl. Maya Hart. "Uncle Josh!" Maya said and hugged me. It was a warm hug and I had always liked maya but I'd have to save the flirting for when riley wasn't around. I pretended not to like it. "I'm not your uncle, Maya!" I said. "Even better!" She said. I hoped riley didn't see me blushing. When Riley pulled maya away I stopped to look at the goregous blonde standing in front of me. "It's been a while." I said. "Sure has!" she said smoothly. I scratched my head and said "Well boy you grew up goregous!" I walked over to Topanga and mom quickly.

That night I texted maya.
-Hey
-What are you doing up Josh?
-I want to talk to you
-Fine I'll be down in a minute
Maya's POV
I snuck downstairs quietly where Josh was sitting on the couch. "Hey." I said. "Hey M-Maya." He stuttered and it was kinda cute.
