Spin the Bottle

"Hey." I said. "Hey M-Maya." He stuttered and it was kinda cute.
"So um what do your parents do for a living?" Josh asked

Josh's POV
She seemed upset. "We'll my moms a waitress and...my dad, well he left us." I felt so bad for saying that. I heard sniffing and looked at Maya. She was crying. I apologised but she told me it was fine.
"Josh why do you pretend to be my friend?" She asked.
"Pretend? Maya I've known you since I was 8 and you were 5, remember?"

Maya's POV
Why did he bring that up? I liked him back then too but I was a really forward flirter!
*Flashback*
"Hey josh where you going?"
"To the park."
"Can I come?"
"I guess, Cory will take us."
We walked to the park and headed to the swings.
"Oh looks like there's only one swing so I guess I will sit on your lap!"
"Maya there's a swing beside me."
I went to the swing and started kicking like a crazy person. Josh got off his swing and pushed me. One time I turned around and tried to kiss him and he ran off.
*end of flashback*
"Yeah but you didn't really like me. Because I...I...-"
"Tried to kiss me." Josh finished. I was so embarrassed. Who would kiss me? I'm maya hart. I'm not pretty. I'm not smart. I have terrible parents. I'm broken.
To my surprise he didn't say a thing so I ran back to Riley's room where he couldn't go or he'd wake riley.

I got only an hour of sleep but riley woke me up and I wasn't happy. Why did josh do that? I know he only did that so I'd go to sleep.

Farkle, Smackle, and Lucas finally arrived. Lucas, Smackle, Farkle, Riley, Josh, and I all went up to Riley's room.
"Okay I found a list of games to play. There's Truth or Dare, Spin the Bottle, and The friends game. We've played every game except... Spin the Bottle!" Farkle said. Well that's what we had to play.
Farkle volunteered to go first. He spun the ketchup bottle and it landed on Smackle! We left the room and waited. When Smackle said we could come in we found Farkle on the floor.
Then it was Lucas' turn. It spun and landed on me. I saw riley and lucas' frustration and let him spin again. It landed on Riley! We left the room and waited a long time.

Riley's POV
I sat on my bed quietly waiting. But Lucas did the same. "We can do this! It doesn't have to mean anything!" I finally said. "Yeah." He said. He came and sat next to me. We looked at each other. He leaned in and kissed me. It was magical! Like a Disney movie!
I leaned out and opened the door. But Lucas and I couldn't stop smiling and blushing!

Maya's POV
This meant Josh and I had to kiss!
