Chapter 9

Natasha and Steve are in the Castle's garden, near the pond, Natasha is telling stories while Steve listens, his arms wrapped around her, he put his head on Natasha's. They both couldn't stop smiling.

Natasha stopped talking and stepped back away from Steve when she saw Sharon walking towards them, Steve frowned when Natasha stepped away from him.

"Nat-" He was cut off by Sharon slapping Natasha, all of the maids, and whoever saw Sharon slaps Natasha all gasped.

Yelena and the others were talking about their life when Coulson, the captain, came up to them and told them that there was something bad happening in the Garden, they all rushed to the garden.

When they got there, they saw Sharon pushing Natasha to the pond, Steve trying to stop Sharon and protecting Natasha.

"Oh, lord," Loki said before they went somewhere to go down to the Castle's garden.

"DON'T YOU DARE STEAL STEVE AWAY FROM ME!" Sharon shouted.

"I wasn't stealing him away from you!" Natasha yelled as she gets up.

"U-huh, well, then, what were you two doing? huh? Touching each other, Steve wrapped his arms around you, while you smile!" Sharon shouted.

"SHARON! that's enough, Natasha and I were just talking," Steve said, protecting Natasha.

Loki then wraps his arms around Natasha, protectively.

"You okay?" both Loki and Steve asked her.

Natasha nodded, Yelena then slapped Sharon.

"Yelena, stop," Natasha said, they all went over to Natasha.

"That moron," Tony and Yelena both said as they saw Natasha's bruise.

Clint fumed, and turned around to face Sharon, "YOU!" He shouted.

He then grabs Sharon and dragged her and pushed her to the pond.

"Don't you ever hurt my sister," Clint said, he then turned around to face the others, "Let's go," he said walking away with the others.

"UGH!" Sharon shouted as Steve helps her to stand up.

"What the hell was that, Sharon?" Steve asked her, he was fuming.

"What do you mean? Natasha deserves a slap so I gave it to her," Sharon said crossing her arms.

"She does not deserve a slap, Sharon, I told you, we were just talking," Steve said walking away, leaving Sharon.

Steve was on his way to Natasha's chamber, to give her flowers and to apologize for what Sharon did. He then saw Loki and Natasha together, hugging each other, smiles can be seen on their faces.

"You can always talk to me," Loki said as they pull away, Natasha smiled more widely.

"Okay, Good night and Thank you again, Loki," Natasha said.

"Yelena still has to wake me up for me to help her get ready because a friend of hers is coming tomorrow," Natasha added.

"Okay, Good night," Loki said walking away with a smile.

When Loki was gone, Natasha was about to get in her chamber but Steve called out her name.

"Natasha!" Steve called out for her, Natasha turned around to see Steve with flowers.

"Oh, hey, Steve," Natasha said smiling.

"Hi, uh, this is for you," Steve said nervously, giving Natasha the flowers.

"Oh wow, thank you! What's this for?" Natasha asked him with a smile.

"Oh, well, I am here to apologize for what happened earlier, I'm sorry for Sharon slapping you," Steve said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh, that's fine," Natasha said.

"No, it's not, Sharon shouldn't have slapped you, I should have reacted faster so that she couldn't have slapped you," Steve said.

"But it wasn't your fault," Natasha said cupping Steve's cheek.

Steve then wraps his arms around Natasha, hugging him.

Steve then had a headache,

"I love you," Steve said.

"I love you too," Natasha said, then Steve kiss her and she kissed him back.

Steve then shook his head, Natasha looks at Steve, concerned.

"Is there something wrong? Are you okay?" Natasha asked him.

"Yeah," Steve said with a smile.

Natasha didn't believe him, because she knows he isn't.

"If you say so," Natasha said with a shrug.

"Wait- What?" Sam and Bucky asked.

Steve looks at them with a disbelief look.

"I mean, we understand you but that was our reaction," Sam said.

"I don't know if this is great news or not but I'll tell this to the others," Bucky said smiling.

"It's like those were flashbacks," Steve said with a sigh.
