My Best Nightmare?

Nightmare was texting Blue all day, trying to get a response from his lover but one never came. He was worried about him so he decided to go looking for him.
Using his magic Nightmare teleported to Dream's house, or better known as the former base for the star sans. He went over to Blue's window and saw him gone? Even more alarming was he saw Blue's phone, charging on the same spot it was before Nightmare left. He was worried but sensing his brothers presence he left. Having no clue where Blue was Nightmare was going to go back to the castle when he felt another presence among the falling snow and trees, one far away but still it was something. Following his instincts and his sense of someone near by, Nightmare followed the trail of the presence as it got closer until he saw something different in the snowy woods. It looked like someone. Getting closer, Nightmare's worried face turned to one of utter horror.
"BLUE!"
Nightmare ran over to Blue, seeing the little mass shiver and slowly wake up.
"N-Nighty?.."
Nightmare got over to Blue and scooped him up, Blue falling limp in Nightmare's embrace.
"What happened!? Are you ok!? Why are you out here!?"
"I'm...sorry..."
Blue apologized?.. Nightmare had no clue why but he had no time to find out. He rushed back to his castle in a flash of magic. When he did however, some of the other noticed him.
"Boss where did you- What happened to Blue?.."
Killer asked, as he rounded the corner rubbing his eyes.
"H-He- I don't-"
"Don't freak out...just go get him somewhere warm...he's freezing half to death even in your arms..."
Nightmare nodded, running off into the living room with Blue. He started a small fire up in the fireplace and waited for it to start up before getting up to go get some blankets for Blue. When he did he saw Killer again, less exhausted than he had been a few seconds ago.
"I'll go make sure the others don't bother you to...ok?"
"Ok...and thank you Killer..."
"You can thank me when you kill who ever did that to Blue... He's with you, so he's one of us now..."
Though Nightmare wasn't expecting to hear that, he was very glad that he did, smiling as he waved Killer bye and returned to Blue. After getting Blue some blankets and then some hot chocolate, Nightmare cuddled with him near a fire and luckily by now Blue had regained consciousness even though he was still shivering.
"Feeling any better?.."
Blue was still sniffing and crying but some how nodded. Noticing that he was still shivering, Nightmare covered Blue more.
"Can you tell me what happened?.."
Blue stayed quiet
"Please Blue...you can tell me..."
Still Blue didn't make any other sounds other than small whines and sniffles. Nightmare tried to think of words to convince Blue to say something, and had some what of a clue what he could say.
"Blue...I found you freezing in the woods...I was so worried when I found you... I was worried for both of you..."
Blue was starting to feel bad as Nightmare went on.
"How did you end up out there?.. In the cold...alone..."
Blue sighed
"I...I told Dream the truth... I had no choice..."
Blue whined beginning to cry more
"He would've found out...so I wanted to be honest... I knew it wouldn't go well but I wasn't expecting what happened..."
Nightmare rubbed Blue's back to help calm him down.
"Sshhh, sshhh, it's ok. Do you have any other clothes than these pajamas? There soaked..."
Blue sniffled, whipping his eyes and shaking his head.
"Geez Blue... We can go get you some more clothes, at least for the next few days until Dream maybe gives you your clothes back in one piece..."
"N-No it's o-"
"No Blue it isn't...I'll give you one of my smaller sweaters so we can get you some clothes. But it's probably gonna fit you like a dress, are you ok going out like that?"
"Sure... But you don't have to, really..."
"I want to...and besides it can maybe help distract you..."
"Mmr...I guess... So ya let's do that..."
"We will, you stay here and warm up some more when I go get you something to where."
"Ok I will..."
Nightmare gives Blue another kiss before leaving to get him something to wear. After doing so Nightmare went back over to Blue with a black sweater.
"Sorry it's so big..."
"It's ok babe, I'll go get dressed...and I know it's late but if you want to go see if the others want to go you can."
"Eh I don't know... But since you brought it up I mine as well. But that being said you can still take your time."
"Ok, I'll be back in a bit"
"Ok"
Blue went over to a bathroom to change his clothes. Taking off his pajamas they were unfortunately soaked and cold, like Nightmare had said. Putting on the black sweater he saw that Nightmare was indeed correct again, it fit like a dress, and honestly it didn't look good. So Blue thought and came up with an idea, he put his bandanna on along with his blue gloves. Cuffing the sleeves of the sweater, Blue grabbed a blue ribbon off of his pajamas and tide it around his waist like a belt with a bow on the back of it. Last he summoned his ecto to fill in the dress. Now it actually looked pretty good on him, so putting on his blue boots, Blue walked back out to Nightmare. Nightmare seeing him appeared surprised.
"Wow, you look good~"
"As perusal I would say~"
Blue walked over to Nightmare, wrapping his arms around the dark kings neck.
"I have to agree with you there~"
Nightmare cooed giving Blue a small kiss, as he picked him up.
"Bleh- get a room you two- OW!"
Killer yelped getting elbowed by Cross
"Ignore him, he's still an ass"
Cross said almost a little to cheerfully making Blue giggle a little. Nightmare lightly chuckled, knowing that Killer, maybe not in the way of ways, was just trying to keep the mood up.
"Well at least that made me feel a little bit better..."
But when Blue's tone suddenly dropped, it made everyone a little uncomfortable, but Nightmare was able to make it better before questions started to get asked by the others that didn't know...
"So, you ready to go Blue?"
"Ya, so you can put-"
"Don't even say it, because for now it's not gonna happen."
"Oh...Myehe ok then, if you aren't gonna let me go then fine."
"I won't so let's go"
"Ok"
Opening a portal, Nightmare, Blue, and the gang ended up in an all to familiar plaza. Blue didn't say anything, though he didn't have to due to Nightmare's powers. Nightmare noticing Blue's change of mood instantly turned to speak to his gang.
"Go do what you wish, just don't cause to much chaos."
His team begrudgingly agreed going to do their own things. Nightmare put Blue down, now holding Blue's hand and starting to walk with him.
"So Blue, I can feel your negativity towards this place... Is it because you came here with my brother?.."
Blue appeared surprised, then lightly chuckled.
"Ya...actually..."
"I'm sorry, I probably should've-"
"No, no it's ok... I like it here, in the dark, with all the Christmas lights and the snow... That part is nice..."
"Oh...good, I'm glad you like that..."
"Me to, now there's this one place I can get some clothes that I know is near by so let's go there."
"*Sigh* If that's what you want my babe Blue, then we'll go."
And with that Blue and Nightmare went to go and get Blue some clothes, at least for the next few days and luckily they only had to wait another few days.
