"Wh-what? What do you mean?" The green changling held her in her arms, looking at the afternoon sun, worriedly. Raven closed her eyes, trying to make up something to say. "I just... I don't really know. My emoticlones visited me and they said a few things." She blinked her tears back hoping her wouldn't ask what they "warned" her about. "Oh." Garfield stood up, helping her and they both looked at the scenery they never noticed. It was around 2 PM and the sun was beaming rays at them, warming them up from the cool, beach breeze. Being heroes, they never had time to appreciate-- or notice where their tower was in. They both stood in silence, admiring the day and observing the beauty.

"Hey." Beast Boy held her pale hands up to his chest and smiled. "I brought up some snacks and a thermos of herbal tea, incase you were hungry." He blushed, almost embarrased, and led her to the table the team rarely used. It had a red and white table cloth and a brown basket sitting on top. She giggled a bit and said, "You're so thoughtful and yet, so cliche." Rachel lifted the table cloth a bit and laughed. "Yup, that's me!" He winked at her and pulled the plastic chair back to help her sit. The young heroes sat down beside eachother and Beast Boy opened the basket and handed her the other half of a PB & J sandwich. A classic.

They both ate their sandwiches and sipped on some tea. "So... are you sure you can't tell me what's happening?" Beast Boy asked her, looking down at his half- eaten sandwich. Raven's eyes widened and she gulped down her tea. "Well... I can. But, I'd prefer not to." She didn't look at him because she knew that she would end up crying if she did. "But you should tell me. Maybe I could help you." His hand lifted up her chin as he looked back at her. Declining, she put his hand down and looked back at the sky. "It would hurt you, though. And I don't want that to happen." The purple haired empath spoke quitely. "But it's hurting you." Beast Boy replied and held her hand as it rested on her lap.

Seagulls flew by and the water crashing onto the rocks accompanied their silent conversation. Both teen heroes were finished eating their mini picnic. "You see, I have to control my emotions. To, you know, make sure I don't get all crazy." Breaking the silence, she looked at him. He looked back at her, nodding in agreement. "So, when I was meditating, I decided to visit my emotions. And well, Happy, told me that Knowledge needed me so, I went to her." Tears were starting develop in her violet eyes and her voice was starting to crack. "Well, they said that now that I'm dating you, my emotions are starting to get out of control." Beast Boy wiped the tear on her cheek and looked her in her eyes. "So, because we're together. It could tear you apart."
