A/N: Let me know if this chapter is clear or not. Sometimes, I imagine scenes in my head but when I put them down in writing, the words just aren't right. And as usual, ignore the typos unless they're major ones that make reading an unpleasant experience for you. Hahaha. Enjoy!

They reached the lake at the back of the palace. Some creatures have made their way there too but they were dealt with easily.
“Listen," the king said, stopping abruptly, "you have to go without us.”
“What?” Zedina was surprised to hear that. “No, no. We will get you out of here.”
“No. We will stay with our people.”
“I am sorry, your majesty, but I cannot let you go back there and die.”
“Lady Zedina, listen. We have a responsibility to the people of Zecrom. We cannot leave them even if it meant dying with them.”
“Then we will stay too,” she said stubbornly.
“No. You must go and leave us here,” the queen insisted, her voice starting to shake. The devastation that has come upon Zecrom has finally broken her composure.
“But your son—“
“W-we leave Reign to you. You, Garr, Cloud and Lady Altaecia will take care of our son,” the queen said. Then she frantically looked at their faces, more worried now. “W-where is Majica? And Anyo?”
“They were outside the palace halls before we followed you, your majesty. Majica assured me that they’ll catch up,” Cloud said, starting to wonder why the two still have not shown up.
“I am worried about Majica,” the queen said.
“Anyo will never let anything bad happen to her,” Altaecia promised although she was starting to worry too.
“Majica… where is Majica?” the prince asked. He looked around him, just realizing that his second best friend was not with them. “Where is Majica?”
“Present.”
They turned to the direction of the voice. Majica emerged from the kitchen backdoor. Behind her was Anyo’s wolf form and Iris.
“Thank the spirits; you are safe,” the queen said, embracing Majica, making the girl blush.
Anyo changed back to his human form, swiping at his sweaty brow. “That was some fight. I can still taste those creatures in my mouth.” He spit out thick dark red juice from his mouth, wiping his tongue on his sleeve. “Not even close to the taste of the cheapest wine.”
Iris leaped onto Zedina’s shoulder and settled there, purring softly. The spell caster absentmindedly scratched the chin of the cat.
“All six of you must go and protect Reign. Get him out of here and do not come back,” the king told them.
“B-but…”
“That’s an order,” the king finally said, knowing their strong sense of duty and loyalty.
They were silenced by his words. Their facial expressions showed that it was difficult for them. But it was order. So they bowed their heads, though reluctantly.
“It is already obvious that Everett betrayed us all. He did not do anything to summon Gaia.”
“He summoned Raven,” the queen added quietly.
