  I hear a faint knock that wakes me up Effie comes into my room "Come on get up Breakfast will the ready soon" she says taking the covers off of me I groan and sit up. I look over and see a skin-tight suit with black and red on it. After breakfast Effie made me put it on for training day. I and mark walk into the training room I see people gather around a woman and mark joins them.

I see the Boy from one and the girl from 3 talking he looks up when the door closes We make eye contact he smiles at me my heart starts to race I look over at Mark who was watching him he rolls his eyes. He grabs my arm and takes me over to the circle Someone stands next to me I look up and see marvel I try to slow down my breathing.

I see the girl from one and cato flirting and giggling I rub my nose looking away I look up at mark he looks my way but past my shoulder, I look to my right and see 'Marvel'.Mark glares at him I clench my jaw looking at my nails. "Hello," The boy to my right says I smile "H, I," I say looking down "I'm marvel," He says putting his hand out "I'm Willow," I say taking his hand shaking it

"I'm Mark" Mark cuts in also putting his hand out "I'm aware," marvel says, "I thought you were Marvel," mark says sarcastically I raise an eyebrow at him Marvel and mark glare at each other before mark looks away rolling his eyes I  bite my lower lip sighing.

The woman starts talking she mentioned her name but I was too focused on mark and marvel sending each other death looks and cato and Marley flirting "Why can't they just get a room" marvel says under his breath "I know right" I say he snorts "Is there something you two would like to share?" the woman asks I hold in a laugh "No ma" am" marvel says she looks at us then continues to talk I press my lips together looking at marvel trying to laugh I feel eyes on me I look up and see 'Cato' from district two glaring at me and marvel "And lastly no fight there will be enough of that in the area" she says as we all break apart going to stations.

Right no fighting I think to myself a whole bunch of snotty rich kids there will be a fight I sigh at my thoughts I feel a hand on my lower back I look behind me I see Mark"You ok?" he asks "Yeah but what's up with you and marvel?" I ask turning around "I don't trust him," He says crossing his arms I scrunch my eyebrows "So?" I ask "He was talking to you, Trying to be your friend," says "Mark we need allies so becoming friends with a boy from district one isn't that bad," I say crossing my arms "Until he kills you," he says bluntly I sigh "Whatever mark," I say walking away from him I look around I see a short blonde standing by a station I walk over to her she straightens her shoulders and looks down

"Hi, I'm willow" I smile putting my hand out "I'm Ella," she says her voice is low and soft she bites her lip "Do you know how to start a fire?" she asks pointing at the station that has wood and rocks I nod she smiles squatting down "Can you show me?" she asked I smile "Yes I can" she reminds me of my sister after I grab two rocks and rub them together over the large sticks witch creates a spark and eventually sets the wood on fire "That's so cool," she says smiling at me "Yea I guess" I chuckle "I'm from district four" "12," I say blowing the fire out "Um I know its soon, but my district partner hates me, Do you want to work together?" she asks me looking down.

"Yes of course" She smiles "Do you have a weapon of choice?" she asks walking away from the fire station "Um yea knives and a bow I smile. You?" "Oh no I'm good with plants and water" she smiles I laugh picking up a knife "Go ahead," she says stepping back "Throw it" she smiles

I breathe in and look down at the target I spin the knife in my hand before I throw it with all of my strength It lands dead in the center of the moving target I sigh I look at her mouth is wide open "How did you do that?" she asked grabbing my arm gently shrug "I don't know a lot of practice" I sigh grabbing another one and throw it again it lands in the center again and again and again and again

I sigh after I'm done with all six knives She blinks then looks up at me "Your amazing" "Damn hart" I hear from behind me I turn and see 'Marley' The tribute from district one I nod "Your good" she says crossing her arms "Thanks" I say backing away from her with Ella behind me stepping back.

Marvel comes up behind her "Are you torching 12 and 4?" he says looking down at Marley "No I was commenting 12" "Oh how come?" he asks she points at the targets. "Damn," he says looking at me "That's what it said," Marley says turning around walking back to Cato and Cove I look over at them and see Marley point at the targets and cato looks at me and raises his eyebrows then say something walking me and Ellas way marvel smiles at us then sees what Cato is doing "Don't piss him off" he warns us I turn around "Go go to the plant station" I whisper to Ella "I'm right behind you," I say smiling at her she nods letting go of my shirt.

We walk over to the plant station Ella starts naming off plants and a whole bunch of facts about them she turns around to see if I'm paying attention she swallows anodizing behind me I turn around and see Cato "Need something?" I asked him raising an eyebrow at him he bites his lip "No I'm just curious how you did that" "Did what?" I ask innately Ella snorts "Oi shut it four" he yells at Ella making her jump "Why don't you shut up," I ask turning my head I see clove Marley and marvel coming up behind him "Excuse me?" he asked looking at me in my eyes "Are you deaf 2 I said Why don't you shut it" I raise my voice at him he stands up straight

"Is he speechless?" Clove asks Marley in a whisper loud enough for all of us to hear cato scoffs walking closer to me our faces are inches apart "WHen I ask for your opinion ill give you one got it 12?!" "I glare at him "Fuck off" I grab Ella's arm walking off I feel a tight hand wrap around my arm and wanks me back "Are you feeling brave today?" he asks I rip my arm away from him and walks off "Just wait until the area Hart" he yells across the room

We hear a whistle that means training is over I wave bye to Ella when I get into the elevator.

Before the door shuts it opens back up I see marvel he steps into the elevator he smiles at me he hits the one-button "That was cool" he says looking over at me "What?" I ask "You stood up to cato" "oh well he's not all badass its an act to seem tough," I say shrugging "Well it was a pleasure meeting you 'willow'" he puts his hand out again I smile shaking his hand he slips a piece of paper in my hand before walking out of the elevator.

I bite my lip then I open it

I sigh closing it then the door opens I walk to the apartment I see Effie and mark talking on the couch she sees me "Are you ok dear?" she asks "Yea I'm just tired" I say waking off to my room I sit on my bed then I look over ta my clock 7:53 I sigh flopping my back on the soft bed.
