Song of the chapter: Fallen star by The Neighbourhood.

Dinner was awkward to say the least. Her and Peter kept sharing nervous glances as aunt May rambled on about her day.
"Ok, seriously what is up with you guys?", Helen's attention quickly turned to aunt May staring at the two teenagers in disbelief.
"Oh uhm... Just you know-", the girl stammered on not sure what to say.
"Just excited about building the Lego Death Star.", Peter quickly chimed in glancing at Helen.
"Oh I see well, you know I usually like to keep food in the kitchen but I'll let you guys eat in Peter's room just this once since I know how excited you've been about this!", aunt May said in a cheerful voice smiling at the two of them.
Helen smiled and thanked her for the food while grabbing the plate in front of her hurrying alongside Peter to his room. As Peter closed his door she put her plate down and kept staring at him dumbfounded wondering what to say.
"So...", he stated looking at the girl for answers supposedly about what he'd uttered in this room earlier. She wanted to give him an answer but the girl couldn't form any words so She moved closer to him sitting down on the bed facing him.
Helen put her hands on his reassuring him that it was ok. He smiled softly looking into her ocean eyes.
"Listen I'm so sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I-I just wouldn't know how and what to say and I...", Peter went on and on as The girl watched him struggle to find any words of meaning.
She gently put her hands on his cheeks making him stop as she leaned in towards him. He quickly took a hold of the girl's wrists, put them down and pressed his lips against hers.
Helen quickly sat up in her queen sized bed heavily breathing. The truth was Peter had in fact told her about his secret but the kiss had never happened, that night she had left right after dinner. The pair had barely shared any words since the incident where he'd told her the truth about his supposed "internship" with Mr. Stark, her father. Of course she should've known better than to think her father would just let some random teenager help out but she never thought Peter would have lied.
Helen glanced at the view from her room showing the beautiful city of New York when something caught her eye. A familiar blue and red figure swinging around the neighbourhood, although something felt different, maybe because she now knew who was hiding behind the mask, her best friend. The girl's attention quickly shifted as she heard a thud coming from above her. She opened the door to her bedroom quickly walking towards the stairs making her way to the floor above hers. Helen shook her head and chuckled as she saw her dad ducking to avoid pieces of his new suit prototype hitting him in the head. The sight was nothing unfamiliar to the girl as her dad would never stop trying to make a better version of his already advanced Ironman gadgets.
"Please stop laughing and inactivate the new prototype Gums.", her father gave her a stern look as always using the nickname only he would call her. She smiled sheepishly at her father as she made her way to the computer and shut the new suit down making the pieces of technology return to their charger.
"You're welcome!", she teased causing her father to roll his eyes though the girl could see a smile forming on the man's lips as he made his way towards the teenager. Tony took her in a warm embrace and gently kissed his daughter on top of her head like he always did. Helen smiled when they go of each other and looked into her father's eyes and figured he was going to say something important since a line had formed on his forehead.
"So listen Gums, I'm going to have to work a lot more during these next missions with the avengers..." Tony stated sadly looking away making Helen worry about what he was going to say next.
"For your own safety you're going to have to stay with the Parker's for a while, ok?"

Fanfiction"I'm spider-man", her eyes widened. Did she hear that correctly? "Yeah, that seems plausible...", the girl chuckled, her best friend was not spider-man, no way.
