Shifting Methods

Alas, I still have yet to shift, but this bothers me very little. I like to view each day as an opportunity to become a little wiser, which is always much appreciated because I don't see myself as a particularly intelligent person. Every day in my original reality is also a chance for me to refine my scripts and ensure that I'm happy with them.

In the time since I've learned about shifting, my faith has certainly fluctuated, and nearly given up on shifting altogether. I've most definitely gotten bitter about it many, many times, especially since I've come so close to fully shifting a great many times. Recently, however, I've been able to lucid dream more (intended or not) and get myself closer to my DRs.

I've tried many methods; The Julia Method, the Raven Method, the Staircase Method, the 5 Senses Method, the Intention Method, and more that I can't remember. If I can't remember, it's probably because I didn't get close or wasn't comfortable with that particular method.

Because my brain is always so active, and I fall asleep so often when I meditate, I've found that trying to shift in my sleep has been the best. I daydream a lot, like, a lot, and while this has always been an issue for me in day-to-day life, it's become my best friend when it comes to shifting.

As I'm winding down for bed, I listen to a bunch of songs that remind me of a certain reality and just jam while imagining scenarios. When I've realized I'm falling asleep, I turn off my music (cause I use headphones and can't sleep with those on) and let myself drift off. It definitely takes practice, but I've gotten pretty good at realizing when I'm in dreams and either waking myself up if it's an unpleasant dream, or taking the opportunity to shift. And that's really it. That's been the easiest and most comfortable method for me, and is actually how I shifted to Skyrim for the first time, before I scared myself and shifted back, of course. Next time, I'll be ready for sure.

Basically, it's:
> Music
> Jam session
> daydream
> Sleepy time
> Dream

Please remember, everyone's shifting journey is unique and what works for me may not work for you. Never forget that you don't need a method to shift, it's simply a tool for you to get you comfortable and ready to shift if you feel you need it or want to. You can also mix-and-match steps from methods to find what works best for you.

Happy shifting! See you soon ♡
