Ring ring goes the classroom phone as I am snapped out of my usual classroom daze. I look toward the phone curious as to who was leaving early this time. The teachers eyes scan the classroom looking for the lucky champ. Her eyes fall on me as she calls my name "Hallie, your going home for the day."
A moment of concern crosses my face because I didn't have an appointment or anything that I knew of. Suddenly fear creeps into my mind as questions start running through my brain. What was going on? Did my dog die? Did a family member pass away? Did someone get into an accident? I collected my things in a quick and orderly manor as my friend leans over asking me where I was going. I shake my head as my smile fades. I walk to the office and out to my parents who are waiting in the car. Mom and dad never both pick me up. I walked to the car and got in quickly as I spoke. "Guys, what's going on I don't have an appointment today. Do I?"
Mom and dad smile at me and my dad speaks "No, there is no appointment today."
Then mom chimes in "we have some news..." My heart starts to beat and I feel as if I'm going to throw up. "We got a call today, from your agent." My face shows my thoughts and... "Well your agent has found an audition for a new movie coming out next year that is to be a huge blockbuster, and they think you would be perfect for the lead."
My face practical glows and a smile wider than my ears appears and then dad speaks "The movie is about a girl who is a runaway and gets recruited by an undercover spy school. Only to find out her parents both founded the school and they never told her she was the child of two of the best known spies. Would you be intere..."
Without even letting my dad finish I shout the words "YES!!!!!"
My mom responds saying "the auditions are in two weeks and by then it will be summer so it's perfect timing."
I slump back in my seat with a smile on my face as I was fantasizing about the next two months and how perfect it would be to be in a movie, an actual movie with big shot directions and a premiere and everything. It all seemed so perfect!
(A/N: I'm really excited about this story and think you guys will really like it! Sorry this chapter was kind of short, but again it's the first chapter so... Enjoy and keep on reading!)
