I was disappointed to learn that Chris got cut, but he seemed really cool about it all and didn't let it get him down. I was so proud of how hard he worked. He would get far in life. Anyways, after first cuts we were given another side. I quickly read over this scene and figured out it was, yet again. With the guy counter part. But this time it was no emotional scene, but one of astonished actions and fear. The guy would be on the verge of falling off a cliff to his doom. We were again paired off one by one. "Hallie Stark, your with Jason Blane."
I looked around the room curious as to who would be my new partner. Finally I found him and we locked eyes and I got this weird feeling. HE WAS SO ATTRACTIVE!!! I was really excited, but only hoped he wasn't one of those stuck up 'I'm too good for you' guys because if so I'd be kinda upset.
I walked over trying to be as normal and not awkward as possible, but that obviously didn't work. I tripped over my own feet practically tripping when he caught me.
"Hey, don't hurt the ground!"
I looked up and chuckled. "Yea, the ground and I aren't on the best terms right now!"
I alight then he laughed. I'm so glad the worlds that came out of my mouth weren't that stupid. "Hey, I'm Jason Blane. I'm assuming your Hallie Star...?"
"Indeed that's me! And my last name is Stark, but you were close so nice job!"
"Oh sorry, Hallie StarK!"
"Yep! And thanks for catching me, that could have ended really badly. So since we don't have much time want to rehearsal the scene?"
"Yes, that's a good idea Hallie StarK."
Ok so kibble N
"Ok, so any blocking suggestions because your, ya know...falling of a cliff and all.""Actually, I was thinking you could just stand on one of the chairs they have in the room
And then I'll sit on the floor and hang on for deer life."Man he was nice, funny, attractive, and creative, could he get any better?! We ran the scene multiple times and then out of the blue came little miss Ryan Lockwood. "Oh, I like your guys' idea, it s so creative! Hey Jason, can you help me run lines while my partner goes to the bathroom?"
"Hey, Hallie, is it ok if I help her? Because I feel really good about how our scene is coming."
"Sure Jason, but you'll come back right?"
He smiled and nodded his head. I was so done!! He was my partner. And then comes little miss Ryan making Jason go all googly eyed. Alright, Hallie calm down its fine the scene is going great don't worry. 5 minutes had already passed and he wasn't back yet and he seemed so happy with Ryan. I just had to hide my anger because after all. The game game isn't easy and neither would dealing with Ryan.
Finally Jason came back, but he seemed so different he seemed so distant and kind of annoyed with me. I didn't have a very good feeling. Does hanging out with one person for about 10 minutes really change ones behavior? We ran through the scene two times with this distant business, and then I built up the guts to ask. "Jason, I'm
Not trying to be mean, but did something happen or did Ryan say something about me, because you seem different and really distant. I'm just curious that's all. If she said something I won't be mad."Jason stood there dumbfounded for a couple seconds and then something snapped "oh my gosh Hallie, I'm so sorry! I didn't realize. I guess I was just distracted. And no Ryan didn't day much about you she just said you were from Arizona and that you travel here a lot."
I'm from Arizona and travel to California a lot. How would that distract someone? I just pushed his attitude away and E went back to practicing. And practically every 5 minutes Jason would apologize. I began to feel bad I pointed any hung out, but I mean, I had to. After 30 more minutes they began to call in groups and to my surprise I didn't actually go first. We went third, but guess who went second and told me 'don't suck, you'll do great' in a really sarcastic tone? Ryan Lockwood.
