Lia and Brandon had the apartment to themselves, and they were making the most of it. Cuddled up on the couch underneath a plush blanket, Brandon's hands roam beneath Lia's t-shirt, his fingers skimming her waist causing her to squirm delightfully in his arms.

Any complaint she makes is swallowed when the two finally fall into a heated kiss, Lia humming in her throat at the soft touch. If this is what it meant to be together, Brandon and Lia were all for it.

Lia grabs at Brandon's auburn hair, the strands twisting in her hands as she tugs him gently, trying to get him as close as humanly possible. Neither of them were wanting anything more. Only to be wrapped in each other's arms, enjoying the heat and the soft caresses that oozed how much they cared for one another.

"We should probably stop." Brandon mumbles against her lips, noses bumping.

Lia hums again. "No one's home until this evening, remember? Cam's off with the papers."

Brandon smiles in glee, grabbing his girlfriend –not officially – by the waist and tossing her backwards onto the couch.

She laughs loudly, hair splayed out as he curls up on top of her, rubbing his softy stubbled face against her chin.

"Brandon! That tickles!"

The two laugh, giggling like school children as they continue to cuddle and touch, hands sneaking under shirts and into waistbands.

That is, until the apartment door opens.

Lia sits up, pushing Brandon off of her. His leg slips off the couch, and with him his entire muscular body landing on the rug with a loud thump.

Cam stands at the door, rain dripping from his hair and his clothes plastered to his body. The granny bag is wet as well, but nothing compares to the sight of Cam.

"Cameron! What happened?" Lia leaps off of the couch, running over to him to place a hand against his frigid skin.

"It was raining."

She raises a brow at the snarky tone.

Cam ignores her, instead he toes off his now squishy shoes and attempts to peel off his sopping shirt. Only it gets caught. Frustrated with everything, he growls out loud, clawing at the shirt to try and get it off of his body until it's gently tugged away by Brandy.

In all honesty, Cam had had enough. He wanted to cry, as much of a baby as that made him, he couldn't help it. He was exhausted. The stupid paper run had taken him all over town. He'd been lost twice, was hissed at by an angry cat, and a car had driven past him through a puddle, spraying his already damp self with dirty gutter water. He didn't know it was supposed to rain today, it was Spring after all. It was supposed to be sunshine and fluffy clouds...

Struggling to get his pants off, Cam angrily gives up, reaching down to rip his socks off instead. He didn't want to walk his dirty wet clothes through the house, knowing they would be dripping all over the girl's nice apartment floor, but it seemed he had no choice.

"Hey, it's okay." Brandon tries to reassure, gently placing a hand on Cam's shoulder and leading him to the bathroom.

Lia stays behind, collecting the wet clothes and placing them in a plastic bag for now. She looks over at Brandon, catching his eye as they converse silently. It wasn't going to be such a nice night after all.

Usually, Brandon or anyone else really, would leave Cameron to it, but it was obvious the man wasn't coping. His body was shaking, whether that be from the cold or from the mountain of emotions that were moments from boiling over, Brandon didn't know. Instead, he calmly stood Cam in the middle of the small bathroom, gently moving his shaking hands away from the pants button and undoing them for him.
