Promise

Y/n's POV

"Sis? Y/n?" Lucia shake me off. She's crying. "What- what's going on? Why are you crying?" I sat up hugging her. "I'm sorry sister" she said sobbing. I'm not mad nor angry at her, i just want to know what's behind of her mind manipulation to Abuela and why would she want to marry Camilo.

"What's going on amor, it's too early to get up." Camilo whispered to me pulling me back to his arms. He didn't see me and Lucia, he still had his eyes shut. "Don't worry Cami, I'm just talking to my sister. I'll be back, okay?" I said patting his head. He nod in response and cuddled up close to me.

"Let's just talk later, sister. I'm sorry i disturbed you and Camilo's sleep." She said as she broke our hug, waving good bye. "Okay, take your time." I said going back to Camilo's arms and hugged him as i drift off to sleep.

We heard a knock from our door and i felt Camilo sat up. "Damn, stop knocking and wake us up! I'm still sleepy! Gosh these guys!" He said furiously.

"Wake up amor, it's time for breakfast." He said in a sweet voice and kept on showering me with kisses. "Fine, fine I'm up stop kissing." He laughed.

"Good morning hermosa." He said as he held my hand and kissed it. "Alright stop being all clingy let's help them set up the table." I stood up, pulling him up the bed. "Come on now, stand up." I said letting his hands go as i went to the door. "Okay fine I'm up. Don't leave me!" He shout and hugged me.

He held my hands and we went out the room together. when we went down, the table was already set and it looks like they were waiting for us.

"What took you guys so long, I'm so hungry." Mirabel said hitting Camilo in his shoulder. We sat down and ate our food.

We finished eating and we went out of the house for a stroll when Abuela and Lucia called me. "Y/n, come on in for a sec." Abuela said. "Uh- Cami, wait here okay? It'll be quick." I gave him a peck and ran to them. "Abuela, you called me?" I asked her.

"Uhm yes, y/n I'm sorry i misunderstood the marriage between Lucia and Camilo-" i cut her off. "Abuela, it's fine. My sister already explained it to me. We're all good now, right sis?" I winked at her. "Ah- yes Abuela, I'm sorry." She apologized to me and Abuela. "Alright now go do what you gonna do." Abuela smiled and left us.

I pulled Lucia's arm outside and we went to Camilo. "Hey amor, wait uh.. you coming too?" Camilo asked Lucia. "Mm i guess." She answered awkwardly. "After you ladies." Camilo said and we went to the forest and visited our cave. "This is where we stayed when his family for short 'The Madrigals' were mad at me." I told my sister. We laughed and proceeds to go everywhere we put our eyes on.

"Hey sister, you don't like Camilo right? You wouldn't ever, like him right?" I asked my sister out of blue when Camilo was buying something at the store.

"Of course i wouldn't. He's all yours" she winked.

"I don't believe you." I said jokingly

"i promise." She said and serious tone.

Camilo just finished buying. "Guys i bought empanadas you want some?" He asked us. "Sure!" We both said. After that we walked more as we tell each other a stories.

We we're exhausted so we dropped Lucia off her house and as for both of Camilo and me, we went back to the Casita to rest. Me and Camilo are now at his room, I'm reading a book and Camilo looks like he has something to say to me but he can't spit it out.

"Hey amor, i have something to tell you." Camilo said as he took something out in his pocket, he took out a paper ring and he's giving it to me. "Uhm- happy 11th monthsary mi vida." He said as he slid the paper ring onto my middle finger. "Aww, Camilo! It's beautiful. I love you." I said as he kissed me. "I love you more."

I'm admiring this beautiful ring while Camilo is downstairs getting food for us as i find where our diary is. When i found our diary, i opened it and it has some card on it saying open me. It's Camilo's handwriting. It was a letter for me and i read it.

"Hey amor, you probably found this diary after i gave my gift to you. As i expected of course."

I laughed, he definitely predicted what i did.

"You know mi amor, Roses are red, Violets are blue. Sugar is sweet, And I love you.

Your smile is amazing. Your beauty so true. Your eyes shine like stars. They see our love through.

You're a gift from the angels. They made you in heaven, The girl that I dreamed about, Since we were kids.

After i read that, my tears formed in my eyes as Camilo saw me and immediately ran to me. "Amor why are you crying?" He asked and he saw the letter in my hands. "Oh i see you found it huh? Was it the reason why you're crying?" He asked again wiping my tears. "I love you so much, Camilo!" I hugged him so tight. He laughed as he run his fingers to my hair.
