Memories

Y/n's POV

I woke up to a door knock, i wonder who is it this early in the morning?

I opened the door and saw Dolores. "Good morning y/n, is Camilo still asleep?" She asked smiling but i can feel her nervousness. "Uhm, yes may i ask why?" I answered. "Well that's good, actually i have something to tell you." She said and pulled me out of the room while running to hers.

We went inside her room and i sat on her bed. "Wow there's so many books in here, what are they?" I asked, her room is full of books it looks like a library. "Those aren't books, that's my notes. I wrote all of the things i hear in there." She said.

Really? That must be tiring but i guess I can't judge. "So why did you bring me in here?" I asked while looking through those notes. "I saw something cool and unbelievable." She said looking through those notes and pulled out the red one. "This, it says y/n l/n. Isn't that your name? Here read it." She then tossed me the notebook. She's right, it was my name but i wonder what was the unbelievable thing inside? I read it and it was really unbelievable.

It says that i have a gift and an actual room here in Casita. My gift was Erasing and Restoring memories, i can't believe it.

"Hey y/n, try to use your gift on me." Dolores said to me, i tried to do it and i think it worked. "Oh my god y/n" she started crying and hugging me. "It worked! I missed you so much!" She said still crying.

'what if i try it to myself? What secret would unfold? What was the reason i erased my memories?' i asked to myself.

"Dolores, sorry to ruin the drama but i want to try it to myself, i wanna know something I've always asked to myself." I told her and i left the room. I went to the cave and tried to restore my memories.

I tear up by the things i saw and ran back to Casa Madrigal to restore all of the Madrigal's memories especially Camilo. I promised him to be back soon but i didn't, I'm so sorry Camilo.

As i opened the door of the Casa Madrigal, Tio Bruno was there, I'll start with him.

Many different reactions rained on me, like tia pepa and tia julieta, They cried and hugged me. I'm so happy that they finally trust me and I'm so happy to earn their trust.

I finished with Abuela, but i guess she is still mad at me, afterall i tried to ruin their lives. I think she won't be able to forgive to what have i done.

But i was surprised when she hugged me, i couldn't believe it. Abuela Alma Madrigal is hugging me? "Welcome home Y/n, I missed you." She said and pecked my cheeks. I chuckled nervously and escaped her grip as i run to Camilo who was just staring at me the whole time with blank face.

"Mi amor? Are you still sleepy? What's the problem?" I asked him but he didn't respond. "Hello?? Camilo you there?" I laughed but he still didn't respond and left me.

'weird'

"I'm so happy to have you back y/n!" Isabela hugged me and giving me a flower crown. "Now now, let's see your room again shall we?" Mirabel asked and everyone was laughing, except for Camilo. He's in his room, i wonder what he's doing?

We went to my door and went in as the light of the door shines, it was a room full of books and clocks. As if i was inventing something when i was a child. I saw old photos of me and camilo sitting under the tree, in the fountain and in the river. "Okay we need a picture! Come come!" Abuela shouted. We started taking photos but Camilo wasn't in the photos.

Everyone left and did their usual chores but i was still here in my room checking out every photo i see. When i finished checking out every picture in my room, i went to Camilo's room.

I went in and saw him on the floor, crying?

"Hey Camilo, why are you crying- woah" he pulled me to him, facing him, eye to eye. "Why didn't you come back as soon as possible?" He said sobbing. "I erased my memories too, i knew we won't be back here so i erased all of your memories of me." I said as i wipe his tears off. 'such a baby'.

"You could've just said that to me" he replied and is now hugging me. "You wouldn't let me go." I replied chuckling. "Why are you laughing? It's not funny!" He said and higged me even tighter. I hugged him back and calmed him down. "Atleast I'm with you now, that's all it matters." I said to him kissing his cheeks and patting his head.

He calmed down and we stood up for helping chores. He was smiling this whole time after i calmed him down so i asked him.

"Are you happy?"

"Only when I'm with you mi amor" he whispered, i was blushing so hard and  he laughed at me "you should've seen your face amor" he said still laughing. I glared at him and i started laughing too.

I'd like to laugh with you for the rest of my life.
