THEY HAD TWO WEEKS UNTIL GRADUATION. They were to soon pick their regiment and move on into their careers are soldiers.

Honey had every intention of joining the Scouts, even if she made the top ten.

The chance to join the Military Police was a chance she never even considered taking. There was no way to fulfill her duty in the interior.

It was a waiting game now, waiting for the enemy to strike.

"Have you ever worn an armband?" Honey asked Ymir as the two sat on the roof of the bunkhouse, talking about their pasts.

Ymir was more than willing to explain her life, how she was truly an orphan with no one to support her.

Honey was vague, unwilling to give much information about her life. Ymir had at least figured out that Honey was not from Wall Sina.

Ymir now knew with that question, that Honey was not from within the walls.

"What the hell, Honey? Why are you here? What are you doing inside the walls?" she asked.

"I'm on a mission." she said.

"What kind of mission?" Ymir asked.

"My mentor ran away, she gave me her titan. I have to save the fight for our people, the Eldians." she said.

Ymir froze for a moment.

"You really think you can do that by yourself? You left Marley for this? To come live in this shithole and play hero? That's pathetic." she said.

"I don't give a damn if it's pathetic! It's why I'm here!" Honey replied.

Ymir just stared at Honey in shock. She had never heard the angry side of her.

She just chuckled and laid back on the roof.

"You do you. If it comes down to it, I guess I'm fighting with you." she said.

Honey turned to look at Ymir, who was reaching toward the stars wistfully.

"We're just a couple of extra unlucky bitches in one unlucky ass world."

Reiner showed his care for people in a strange way. He liked to do things for them, be their rock.

Honey wasn't all that different. She did show her love differently.

She was the type of person to cling to her favorite people. Oftentimes, the other Cadets would find Honey clinging to Reiner's arm gently, her hand wrapped around his bicep.

Reiner never minded it. He enjoyed it in fact. In theory, he had always been a little boy hoping to have a pretty girl attached to him at the hip, all over him.
