As I'm daydreaming, someone taps me on the shoulder.

I despise her with my life and I can't stand her. Her friend group and her are the most mean people in the entire school. What does she want?

"Hey, I like Tanner so stay away from him got it?" Geez why does she like Tanner. She is toxic. If Tanner falls for her as well then my life will be ruined. She's going to break his heart in the most cruel way. I'm not even falling for him but ok. She's so problematic and annoying. I don't reply and walk away from her, far as possible. Zoe says "what was that all about?" "I honestly have no idea" I reply with. Seriously I have no idea why she got those words out of her disgusting mouth. Just because I talked to Tanner ONCE doesn't mean I like him. In fact he's the one approaching me all the time. I ignore Audrey for the rest of my day.

Finally it's the end of the day. I pick my things of the table and pack them in my bag. I hug Zoe goodbye and leave the school grounds. I can't believe how chaotic my first day went, I never expected it to be so.. so life changing.

I catch the bus home as I don't have my drivers license yet and reach home precisely 12 minutes earlier than the time I usually reach home. I open the doors of my house to my mother greeting me. "Hey honey how was your first day of sophomore?" "It was good" I reply with. I head up to my room to finish homework. We got homework on the first day of school, seriously the first day. WHO GETS HOMEWORK ON THEIR FIRST DAY?! I finish it quicker than expected. I come downstairs to get a quick snack and go up again. I decide to watch miraculous ladybug season 4, it's one of my favourite shows and now they just came out with a new season, I have to watch it. Soon enough my mother calls me downstairs to eat dinner. I consume my dinner, mum cooked pasta today, it was delicious. I finish it very fast and go to my room to decide upon my outfit for tomorrow, pack my bag- those sorts of things. As I'm planning my outfit for the day ahead of me, I play my favourite song, good days by sza to keep my mood elevated while I do these things. A few minutes in, I get a notification from Zoe Inviting me to ice skating. I love ice skating!! I quickly accept the invite then read the words in bold underneath invite as many people as you want from your side. I instantly thought of that one name, Tanner.

But I don't even have his number, how am I meant to invite him?

I decided to wait for the next day to invite him in person. I'll also get his number then.

It was the next day, I got woken up by my alarm I had put on my phone. I get out of bed and put the white Duvet on my bed neatly, avoiding creases. I quickly put on my outfit I had prepared last night and rush downstairs. I spot breakfast my mum prepared and soon enough I see the school bus waiting on my driveway. "Bye mum" I hug her. I open the large door of my house and run toward the bus. I get in an see my usual seat is taken up. When I see who it's taken up by my eyes open wide.

It was Jordan, one of tanners new friends. I see that the seat besides him is free so I decide to sit next to him. This way, I'll also find out more about Tanner.

"Hey" I wave. He smiles and waves back politely. I ask him "so ur friends with the new guy Tanner right?" He replies with "yup that's me" "so is Tanner cool" "yeah he's awesome and he's a great friend" I nod and go on my phone for the rest of the ride. Good friend huh, I wish he asks me to be friends with him too. Oh that would be the best day of my life. But firstly I have to know more about him.

We reach school and the first face I see while getting out of my bus is tanner. His hairs looking even better than how it was looking before and oh his honey eyes are to die for. I nervously wave and he waves back confidently. I was about to ask him to ice skating but hesitate when I see Audrey. Oh Audrey why do you have to be a part of my life? I decide to just ask him during home room, in this way Audrey won't be around and I won't chicken out. I walk past Tanner and Audrey just rolls her eyes at me. I ignore her and get on with my day. I go to the lockers first to pick up my stuff and then I see Zoe. "Girl are you coming?" "Of course, I could never miss one of ur outing plus I'm ur best-friend." "She laughs and taps me on the shoulder. We both go to our classes and decide to meet each other at the cafeteria. During classes I make notes but with the corner of my eye I could see Tanner staring at Audrey a lot. I hope he doesn't like her. Oh no.
