"Y/N, where are you going?" Her mother yelled as she storm off into her car. Y/N glance back.
"Somewhere far away until I find somebody to fill the empty void that you've taken away from me since my birth," She glared in fury as she step away, hurt filled her eyes as she couldn't utter another word.
"Y/N, dear, it is not what it seems---"
"You never thought of me, Mother!" She yell this time and she was too stunned to speak. Tears trickle down her face and Y/N sighs. Calming her temper Y/N sadly speaks again, "I will not let you tell me who I am destined to be with. Until you and Father stop this nonsense...I will not come back." She turns away.
"But if you don't," Y/N grab onto the door handle and pull it open, "Then I might as well bid you farewell now." The girl enters her car and quickly drives away not daring to look back at her mother's tearful face.
Y/N always thought that it was strange of them to keep her away from men and boys her age. They've come to isolate her from other men and strictly told her to not go out with anyone. Seeing it as their nature to be overprotective of her, Y/N thought it was normal until his name continuously echoed in her head again.
Han Jisung...an old friend. He is the son of Y/N's parents' closest friend. That is the man her parents have always wanted her to dote with but they don't understand that they were not the same as before. Things have changed and they are nothing more than what they wanted them.
Y/N sigh hurtfully and wipe away the tears from her face.
Thinking about what she had said to her mother and father before running just now, the girl realizes how stupid she was to leave so fast. She was too reluctant perhaps she should apologize, Y/N thought to herself again, until suddenly her heart stopped the moment she drive past a familiar neighborhood.
Memories of the past flashed through her mind and without thinking twice Y/N turned in the direction of her car to the quiet neighborhood, filled with memories.
Down the memory lane, Y/N takes in a deep breath and enters the driveway of a house with freshly cut grass. Her eyes scan the place one more time to make sure that this is where she wanted to go and clean her face quickly before heading out.
Y/N takes her key out from the engine and head up the stairs of the small house. She carefully push the doorbell and before she could think of what to say to the person, they had already opened the door revealing the familiar face she had long to run back to before they both knew what was supposed to come.
His doe eyes widen at the sight of her and immediately he pushes himself out to her figure however he hesitated which made Y/N immediately regret coming there. Jisung pushes his hair out from his face and sighs. The sighs sounded almost like he was delighted to see his old friend yet somehow it came out a bit sad.
Y/N bites the inside of her mouth, contemplates what to say.
Jisung smiles softly, "You..." his voice trails off. He wanted to say 'You came back' but something tells him she wasn't back to mend back the relationship they broke off but for something else.
Comfort. That's what she needed from him and Jisung can just tell judging by the puffy red eyes she has and the small sniffs of her nose.
The sight makes him wish he could hold her and tell her everything was okay but how can you do that when your friend is no longer your friend but a stranger?
"Han," She said and Jisung move away from the door to welcome Y/N into the small home he had bought a year ago to get away from his parents' nagging, after an incident between the two.
