You are Worth It

Hello there ladies! I have a special announcement to begin this.

Lianna & I have had a little trouble keeping up with these posts every Wednesday, and we have decided to broaden our horizons than just with looks, prettiness, and beauty. There are WAYYYY MORE ways than we can count in the ways that we all need encouraged every week. Every day even. Starting now, she asked me to change it to 

"1 in a million - Weekly Encouragement for girls"

This basically means that every week we will try to show you that there is more than just what society thinks, what everyone thinks, and sometimes what we think of ourselves. GOD'S voice is what should truly matter.

Lianna Grace has asked me to attempt this week's post, so I hope it speaks to you just as this song that I have been asked to write about has inspired me. A special friend has shown me it, and the first day I found this song, I have loved every second of it. If you can watch the video, PLEASE do it! It is one of the most powerful videos I have ever seen! I don't think I could have put the words these six sisters have sung into just a few minutes of this song. Sometimes a few mintues of someone's time, can change someone's world. A kind gesture can even save a life. You NEVER know what a simple word or two can do.

Everyone else has an opinion and they say words, but what do their words say over ours? We are ALL human. We all make mistakes. We might have the most hidden deep feelings that cannot escape. We might have outside blemishes, scars, scrapes, bruises, mistakes, past wishes that have never came true...

but did you know that none of this matters? When God says He has washed it away from the blood of Jesus HE HAS DONE IT!! He has RISEN! God has done the impossible.

Then why for example, should we be so scared of what God wants us to do? God has called all of us to do greatness, yet we are scared and sit back and watch everyone else be happy. We can't get a smile on our faces at all. Sometimes we hold it in and not let those deep feelings that others have called us. Our past clings to us like chains. Did you know that God has already broken the chains! The only "broken" we should speak of is our inner chains that HE has broken. We say we are broken on the inside.... can it mean this? We say we are broken, but what if we say it differently? The "broken" is actually broken chains? Does this make you think differently than the way you were thinking before?

"You are not a burden, not a waste. You are not a copy, can't be replaced. You're not your pain, you're not your past. Your scars will neve holdy you back. There's so much that you've been through that nobody knows. So many things you never show."

This is saying that there are certain events that leave a place in your heart. Both good and bad in your life that have left "emotional scars" in your life. It doesn't always have to mean physical. Whether they are physical or emotional, they do NOT have to hold you back!

You are not your pain not your past.

Whatever happened in your past, God has already forgiven even BEFORE it happened. It is our choice whether we decide to hold onto them or let God take them and let them go. God doesn't even hold them for us. He let's them go away and never return them. We just need to let Go(D).

"You are not your make up, not your clothes, an anonymous face that no one knows. You're not a skin color, a pretty face. The number of inches around your waist."

I do not believe in "flaws". I believe in God made creations with differences built into them. We all have body types, but there isn't one that is standard. When you find one person that is flawless because God created them that way.... you must be looking in a mirror. That person is YOU! There isn't a flaw that God won't use to help create your future.

Have a skinny, built, dark, light, tall, short, curly hair, straight hair, long hair, blonde, black, red, blue, pink, purple hair, rainbow clown hair, freckles, glasses, acne, clear skin, oily, dry, or any feature I have missed. There isn't anything "wrong" with you! You are one in a million and I KNOW God has never made a mistake. He does everything with a purpose and will always from Day One to eternity.

I do not know if there have been anytimes when you have doubted yourself or even if you have doubted God, but He has NEVER doubted you at all. Once we let God control our worries, they are gone. There are no bounds when God controls our life, writes our story, conducts our song in our life. He writes our story and lets those words be loud songs in our hearts and be heard from everywhere. Most hear the song, others hear the lyrics with their ears, and the closest and most best friends that help us out when we are down hear our life's song's lyrics with their hearts. If I had to say this to my friends face to face, I would say this is me, this is exactly who I'm supposed to be, I'm gonna let God's light shine through me.

We are all finding out day by day who we are supposed to be, and God will not stop until our words are heard from anyone willing to listen. You are a chosen one!

God does NOT make mistakes! He makes One in a Million people!

Because Baby YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!
