Y/N POV
In the library the next week
I walked into the library and there was Korekiyo, who was reading a book on the floor, waiting on me. "Hello Korekiyo! What are you reading?" I asked sitting beside him. "Oh! Y/N, greetings. I was reading a Japanese manga about spirit like entities. I actually made something for you. Are you hungry?" said Korekiyo, who I just noticed had something behind him. "Yeah! I'm hungry!" I said with a smile.
He pulled out a plastic container with a spoon. "This one of the foreign soups I was telling you about. This is a French stew called Garbure. It contains of Ham, cabbage, cheese, and has a side of bread. I hope you enjoy." He said. Aww! He made me soup! "This is very sweet, Korekiyo" I said before I took a sip of his soup. "Wow, this is delicious! France has some good soups! Thanks for making this!" Korekiyo smiled and said, "Kehehehe, it is my pleasure. It was the least I can do for you. You have done so much for me." in response to my compliments. "You keep thanking me. You don't have to, it's my job as The Ultimate Psychologist and as your friend."
He took a deep breath and looked at me in the face. "I want to change." he said with a straight plain face. "I'm sorry.. change?" I asked, wondering what he meant. Does he mean that he wants to change himself? "Kiyo, you don't have to change for anyone you know that, right?" I asked him. "Yes, but this is for me. I want to change my heart. I want to relinquish my need for this mask, and maybe explore a new love. I do not want to be with Sister, who I cannot even see a future with. And I would like if you could help me with that." The tall masked man asked. What?? That's- He wants to get rid of his love for his sister!! This is a huge leap in progress!! "That's amazing! Well.. what made you change your mind about your sister?"
Korekiyo's POV
Is it not obvious? Without you, I wouldn't even consider trying release myself from my sister's possession. I want to change my heart. I want to do what I like. I do not want to kill anymore butterflies. I want to eat without having to get a specific mask for the job. I want to explore what.. what true love is. Not just what Sister would love, or what she told me what was done out of love. I desire that touch only lovers get. And I would love to do it with-
My thoughts were interrupted by a beautiful person. "Korekiyo?" they said with concern. "Oh, no need to be worried," I said. "That was just you're coping method I learned to do. It really is helpful, and worked on more than one occasion." You always do help me. You remind me of someone.. who I can't put my finger on who..
Y/N POV
He used my method! Ahh!! That makes me so happy! I wonder if that's how he came up with how he feels about his sister.. "Well, anyway I can help you, I will! What do you need me to do?" I asked, ready and prepared for anything. "Well first, we have to study spirits and decide on a way to unpossess myself. I know of many rituals, so your opinion on which would be best would be very helpful." Said Shinguji as he stood up, and picked out a couple of books. Ahh- so he takes this stuff veryyyy seriously. "Well alright then." I said, taking the books and glancing at the covers. "History of the Possessed", "Spirits: Rituals Edition", and "The Biography of Mary McGuire". How interesting.. "It should take us until our next session to get through it all and decide on a plan." Korekiyo said estimating. "So let's start now."
After about 30 minutes of studying
"Did you find a good ritual yet?" The tall man asked me. "Well, uhm, there was this one I found in the 4th chapter of this book." I said pointing to a page in the book I was holding. Korekiyo looked at me to see what page I was referring to. "Ahh, you prefer the Candle Ritual? Only the Possessed and a Witness needs to be present so I guess this would be preferable. Is this our final decision?" Korekiyo said then asked. "Yeah. I didn't like the other ones because they destroyed the soul. This one just banishes them from your body, not allowing them to re-enter. Also, it's not a current age method. The Candle Ritual was used I'm ancient China to rid of the bad spirits that killed the farmers bearings." I said.
