I sighed. I was finally at home after a long day of school. I took off my shoes and went inside the kitchen. Of course no one was home yet. Going to the my bedroom, I changed out of my school uniform and into my home clothes. Putting my hair up, I got to the laundry and daily house chores.

I cleaned, dusted, vacuumed, and just anything I could do until I felt something. My instincts told me... "I have to pick up Brandon!" I put away all the cleaning supplies and went my way.

Ever since I was young, both my parents have been busy with work. So I had to be the one to take care of my little brother. Because of that I never really had time to play with friends...

I was at the elementary school of my little brother now. The kindergarten teacher had let them play in the playground today. "Big sis!" Smiling at my little bro, I gave my thanks to the teacher. Taking his hand, we both made our way back home.

On our way back I saw some girls in middle school come our way. They were from a different school, as their uniform suggested. "Oooh did you hear about the new sweets store?" "Yes! I, so want to try it out." "Maybe we should try it out next time we hangout. Deal?" The girls walked past us, giggling and just having fun like girls their age should.

I've gotten used to it, so it's nothing unusual for me...

I just hope that none of my friends see me like this.

This... was my daily life after all.
