Homecoming

---Saturday---

Emily's pov:

Today is the day of

homecoming!I am soo

excited and nervous to see

shawn there but I just tried

to distract myself from the

thought of him by preparing

for tonight.

"Mom!" I yelled down the staircase.

"What?"

"What time is my hair appointment?" I asked

"Around 1" she yelled up to me.

I ran to my room and pulled

out my dress from my closet

and planned out what I

needed to get done.

I headed into the bathroom

and brushed my teeth and

then took a shower.

I made sure to shave my

legs.

Once I was done, I did a face

mask and when I was done,

I put on some nike shorts

and a tee shirt .

I ran down the stairs and

grabbed the car keys and

waited in the car for my

mom.

I got bored so I turned on

the radio, and give me love

was on. Instantly, I thought

of shawn, and the way he

sings it. I quickly changed he

station or else that would

makes really upset.

Finally, my mom got in the

car and drove off to my

appointment.

"Emily?" a lady
called out

I pulled my head up from

my phone and walked over

to her, and said "hi, I'm Emily "

"I'm Cassidy" She smiled

"Follow me"

I followed her to the

washing area and while she

was washing my hair, she

asked questions like, why I

came to get my hair done?

"Tonight is homecoming"
I said

"That's exciting. Are you?" She asked

"Yes " I smiled.

She wrapped a towel around my hair and told me to move to her station.

"Are you going with friends? or a guy?" she asked

I sat down and said" a guy"

"So are you two dating?" she eagerly asked

"No, not exactly."
"It's complicated" I sighed
