TMNT: Beauty and Dangerous (TMNT 2k12 OC fanfic)

Chapter 1: The Messages

The night was still young within the city of New York. Just above the heads of unsuspecting citizens, five large-sized mutant turtles roamed from rooftop to rooftop, patrolling the city. They intend to remain out of sight from the world for it would not understand the Turtles physically, and their ninja training requested them to remain secret. Although the Turtles remain unknown to others in the world they live in, beings from another world recognize their ninja spirits and hearts of true warriors. However, there is one certain ninja turtle that captures the attention to many of the other world's inhabitants.

    "BOOYAKASHA!" Michelangelo hollered as he performed a backflip jumping from one rooftop and landing onto another. "Mikey, will you keep it down?! What if someone hears you?!" Donatello hushed to his younger brother. "Relax, D," Mikey said confidently. "It's not like someone'll hear us." "The Foot Clan might, shell-for-brains." Raphael added, joining his younger brothers' sides. "They're still looking for Alex, even after their little experiment failed the first time." he said.

    "The fact that he used gross worms to control Alex is just all types of wrong." Mikey shuttered. "And that he was controlled against his own will and forced to attack us goes against everything he-." "Shush, Mikey!" Donnie said with a loud whisper. "We don't want to bring that up again, especially since Alex is here on patrol with us." he added.

    From the next rooftop over, Alex was leaning against a water tower and looking down sadly. He had heard the conversation that his one older and younger brothers were having, for their whispering wasn't really that hard to hear. Leonardo, who was caught in the middle of his younger brothers' talk, noticed his second youngest brother was looking glum and walked over towards the water tower to join him. "Is there something on your mind, little brother?" Leo asked.

    Alex turned to see Leo and looked down slightly. "It's nothing Leo." he responded. "Just lost in my own thoughts as usual." Alex looked up at Leo, his cerulean blue eyes meeting Leo's royal blue. "If it's about what happened a couple weeks back with Shredder's mind control serum, I think I get the fact that it's hard to forget and move on from it." Leo said.

    "It's somewhere along those lines." Alex said. "Look, I really appreciate that Splinter let me go on patrol with you guys again, but..." he trailed off. "But what? Alex, is there something you want to tell me?" Leo asked his brother. "Leo..." Alex said slowly. He then sighed deeply and looked at his brother in the eyes. "I think that Shredder might-." Alex paused as he sensed something close by.

    

   Alex turned to the alleyway and noticed a pair of familiar eyes watching him from the shadows. Before he could make it out, Alex saw as the barer of the eyes run off as soon as it caught the scarred turtle's attention. "Hey, wait!" Alex quickly dashed from Leo's side. "Alex, where are you going?!" Leo tried to catch his brother, but the black-and-blue masked turtle was just out of his reach.

    "What's going on?" Raph asked as he, Donnie and Mikey joined their oldest brother's side. "Alex ran off. The one thing Splinter didn't want Alex to do up here." Leo grumbled. "We have to catch up with him!" Donnie exclaimed. "The Foot Clan might capture him if we don't hurry." With Leo's instruction on which direction Alex ran off to, the four brothers all followed far behind his lead, all in hopes that he doesn't get caught.

    Alex tried to run and catch the figure, but it was too fast for his reach. "Who are you?!" the cerulean blue-eyed turtle called out. The stranger said nothing, but instead, dropped down into all fours and ran faster in a running pace Alex recognized. "Wait, you're-?" Before he could finish, the black-and-blue masked turtle then found himself in the middle of the playground. Alex frantically looked around. He felt so exposed, but to his luck, no one was there to see him; no one except for the stranger that led him out of the open.
