-Riley's Point Of View.
It's the middle of July and frantically, Maya and I have been at the beach almost every single day. What can I say? We love the beaches here, they are magnificent. Today we were going to the pier, we got ready and headed out.

It was a nice day, I mean when was it not a beautiful day in California? Anyway, Maya and I walked to the pier since my parents were at the park with auggie. I didn't mind walking though, I didn't mind it one bit.

As we approached the pier Maya spoke up "remember Caleb?" She asked "yeah, I remember him, what about him?" "Didn't he say that he lived in Santa Monica? " I thought for a minute "yeah! I think he actually does!" I smile "do you still have his number?" I look at my phone and find his contact "yeah, right here see" I say as I showed her my phone. "You should give him a call, ask him if he could hang out sometime. I mean we are here for however long we should at least try to make friends" I giggle and nod as I called Caleb.
