-Riley's Point Of View.
It was 2 days before the first day of school, and I happened to already have my outfit ready..I do this practically every single year, I get excited for school but when I get to school, I count down the days till freedom. At the moment I was just sitting down on my bed on my phone, Maya was out with Bradley I think they might've gone out to Starbucks or the beach of something. I was on Twitter when I suddenly got a text message from Caleb.
caleb😛- hey riles, are you free?
I quickly responded back
riley💖- uh, I am but Maya is out with Bradley, whatsup?
caleb😛- well, I was actually wondering if you wanted to hangout, you and me?
I blushed as I looked down at my phone
riley💖- yeah, sure that would be cool 😁
caleb😛- alright be at your house in 15?
riley💖- see you then 😄
well, I guess I'm hanging out with Caleb today, I got up from my bed and got dressed and did my hair and makeup really quickly. When I was done I went down stairs and sat on the couch until he arrived.
-door bell-
I got up from the couch and open the door to find Caleb looking down "uh Caleb? You ready to go?" Ask him in confusion on why he is looking at the ground. "What, oh, yeah let's go" he says holding the door open while I get out "Bye mom! I'm going out with caleb!" I say as I close the door and walk out with Caleb behind me.

It was around 4:30 now and me and Caleb were walking home when suddenly Caleb stops. "Riley" he says and looks at me "yes Caleb?" I ask in confusion "look, you're beautiful, you're funny and you're all a guy wants in a girl, I know you might not like me because you're probably still hung up on Lucas, but I just wanted to let you know that you're beautiful and that I like you, but I also wanted you to know that we can stay friends until and if you ever get feelings for me, okay?" I smile and hug him "you're the best Caleb" he smiled and we walked home, he held out his hand for me to hold which I gladly do and we walk home in silence.

As I approached my front door I hear my mom talking to a really familiar voice "I'm here to visit riles, I missed her you know" I heard as I walked in with Caleb behind me "uh mom?" "Oh sweetie come into the kitchen someone's here to see you!" I walked in and saw no other than Lucas friar.
"Lucas what are you doing here?" I say trying to get his attention but his attention is on my hand which is still holding Caleb's, I didn't even notice.
"who's he?"
