Riley's Point Of View.
"Hello?" said a sleepy voice "hello stranger" I spoke into the phone. "Riley? Oh hey what's up?" He asked "well, I thought it would be nice to inform you that I'm stuck in California for at most 2 years" it was silent for a few seconds "wait what, where" I chuckled along with Maya "Santa Monica, me and maya are in Santa Monica for 2 years" again silence "are you joking?!?" I laugh as Maya does since its on speaker phone. "Nope! We're here in person." I say "let's hangout then!" He said all excitedly "well we actually called you to ask you that in the first place, we are already at the pier, so uh yeah, meet us at the pier in 15 mins? and bring a swim suit!" I ask awaiting for an answer "you don't even have to tell me! Anyway Can't wait to see you both, I missed you guys!" Maya and I aw simultaneously "oh shut up! I'll see you both in a bit" he said before hanging up.

We wait on a bench along the entrance of the pier for 15 minutes until we both see him walking down with the biggest smile on his face. "Caleb!" We both say running to give him a hug, he was already holding his hand out waiting until we would attack him in hugs "Hey guys! How've you been?" He said as he pulled away from the hug "well, we're good, it's good to be in California. Just kinda miss our peoples" I say pouting along with Maya "yeah, I'm gonna miss the crew back in New York, especially Friar and Farkle" Maya said. I frown at the sound of her saying lucas' last name, I miss him. But I'm gonna be okay, I know I am. Especially with Maya and Caleb with me now. "Aw that sucks guys, they should come visit sometime" we both nodded "yeah, agreed" we say simultaneously.

After a long day at the pier and the beach, Maya and I invited Caleb over for dinner. We walked into our house "Mom! Maya and I are home! And we brought a friend!" I call out to my mom. "Who's your friend?" She said walking into the room before realizing it was Caleb "oh Caleb! Nice to see you again! You live around here?" He smiled and gave her a hug, my mom is just a huggable person "yeah, I actually live two blocks away from here" he smiled "that's great, at least Maya and Riley have you as a friend" he smiled and nodded. "Mom? Can we go upstairs until dinners ready?" I asked "yeah sure hon, I'll call you guys up when it's ready" she said smiling I smiled back and went upstairs to Maya's and I's room with Caleb and Maya behind me.

"If you guys don't mind me asking, are you guys still dating your well, guys?" Caleb asked "well..Maya is, Bradley is in Santa Monica too, he was just busy today. Lucas and I broke up because we didn't think long distance relationships work" I tell him looking down "oh I'm sorry Riley, but you guys are still good?" He asked as my phone buzzed "actually yes, he's still my best friend, he actually wants us to skype him now if you don't mind" I say smiling, he smiled back and nodded. I get my MacBook and go on skype, I look for his name and called Lucas Friar. We all waited for an answer for a few seconds, when he answered, Maya and I noticed Farkle in the back and smiled "FARKLE! LUCAS!" We said waving through the computer "hey guys! We miss you!" Farkle said. Caleb was just in the back looking at us while smiling, I had noticed Lucas was looking at him for a while "who's that?" He finally asked with jealousy in his voice, I look back at Caleb with a smile "that's Caleb, remember me talking about him when we came back from spring break?" I said "oh yeah, sup dude!" He said smiling a bit, Caleb waved a bit and looked back at the ground I saw my mom come In and talk to Caleb. "Uh riles? Dinners ready" he said looking at Maya and I "oh okay, well Lucas, Farkle, nice talking to you guys, miss you both, see you soon!" I say they waved and I hung up before going down stairs with Caleb and Maya behind me.
