remember when i pulled up and said get in the car?
Gratefully, Izana woke up the next day without a cold.
It was surprising since he spent the whole midnight dancing in the rain with you.
That encounter made him feel sleepy after, so of course you drove him back home. Guess his day was finally complete so the universe let him get some rest.
He decided he wouldn't visit the mall and just walk around the neighborhood for the whole day.
So that's how he was walking through the sidewalks of the city, he was buying random stuff from the small shops as he walked.
Whether he needed the items or not, he bought them.
His actions reminded him of someone he used to know, someone who had a habit of buying pointless things if it meant she'd have temporary happiness.
Izana shook his thoughts, not wanting to think about the person for a moment.
A kid started crying beside him, having a peaceful day was definitely too good to be true.
"MAMA!! This big boy took my toy! Wahhh!" the kid pointed at Izana, who was just minding his own business.
"What?! You! Give my son his toy back!" of course, the mom believed her kid.
The blond looked through his things, trying to find out whatever the kid was talking about so this chaos could finally stop.
As he searched through his things, he noticed a small sword toy in one of his bags.
He could've just given the toy to the kid and everything's fine, but there was an urge to just run from the situation.
I mean, he did buy the sword with his own money.
So he ran, of course the mom and kid chased him from behind.
Izana ran through different sidewalks but the related duo kept catching up to him for some reason.
Before he could even run any longer, a familiar car parked in front of him and the car window opened, revealing a woman with h/c locks.
"Oi! Get in!" you yelled.
He immediately opened the car door before the mom and kid could get him. You drove away as you could see the kid started complaining to his mom from the side mirror.
You looked at him, "What even was that?"
"I genuinely don't know, but- hey there's a taxi following behind." he pointed at the mirror.
Then, the same lady that was chasing Izana moments ago popped out of the window, looking furious. "You will give back the toy!"
A snicker came out of your mouth. "Toy?"
"Don't ask about it, now drive faster."
With that, you stepped on the gas and the speed of the car went faster than lightning, "Make sure you got your seatbelt!"
Izana immediately put on his seatbelt, his other hand grabbing on the handle.
Despite the unsafe speed, Izana couldn't deny that he was enjoying the ride. It had been a while since he felt this much excitement.
After a couple of minutes driving, you finally lost the taxi and parked in front of some random restaurant.
You and Izana laughed like fools, "That was awesome!"
"Say, y/n?" he said as you turned to him with a hum.
The two of you proceeded to have a moment of eye contact, it was a calm atmosphere despite the thrilling situation you were in just moments ago.
"It's really fun to be with you, y'know?"
His voice tone was as soft as the clouds despite never having to touch one. That was how you could describe it.
Your legs immediately turned into jelly as you felt yourself get flustered by the sudden compliment, "Oh.."
Izana grabbed your face, a smile formed as he leaned closer to you. "And y/n?"
Even if you were in a state where your heart was beating too quick, quicker than the speed you just drove, you felt rather calm.
The touch he gave was gentle, you melted immediately when he voiced out those words. "Yes?"
"Do you wanna kiss?"
-
Kiss, to touch with the lips especially as a mark of affection.
It can be an action of love, desire, greeting or whatever. It can be casual and meaningless, lovely and passionate, or maybe dangerous and poisoned.
But the kiss you shared with Izana inside of your car, it could never be put into words.
