Light frustratedly shook his pen up and down,"Damn pen," he cursed under his breath, Ryuk cocked his head from the corner.

"Eh? What's wrong with that pen? Looks fine to me."

Light scowled and threw the pen behind him, he frantically looked for a new pen. He grabbed a gel pen and wrote on the death note,"Woah, the ink from this pen comes out so smoothly like, pure cleansing waterfall water tears,"

Ryuk rolled his eyes.

That night Light wrote 10x as many names with that amazing gel pen, and it was erasable too, and in purple.
