The Chase

Vrishaketu was hunched in the chariot. He just witnessed the horrifying death of both his tatshree and mamashree. They're gone now, and there's nothing I could do about it! I was just a spectator! Impossible, Tatshree, the one who was said to be undefeated in a mace fight was defeated by Bheem! In deceit. Just like they killed Pitashree. Tatshree just wanted a normal mace fight. The rules go against attacking at the waist. Well, looks like no one abides by the rules anymore. The rule-breaking started on Day One when Uttar died. But he is alive now.

Vrishu couldn't believe that Laxman witnessed it. He witnessed his pitashree dying right in front of him. And he couldn't save him like I couldn't save mine. The chariot stopped at Vrishaketu peered over the side. They had stopped at a river to get drinks. Vrishu knew they had food, weapons, and water, but it was for emergency cases. Vrishaketu put a hand through his hair. He then jumped down from the chariot. He got his satchel and filled it with the fresh, clean water from the river.

Once, he got on the chariot he took his bow, Veeraja, and then looked at Pitashree's bow, Vijaya. Pitashree told me and Jyestha what when he dies to give this bow back to Bhagwan Parashuram, his guru, and to tell him that he was sorry. Looks like we need to take a trip to Mahendragiri Hills. To be honest, Vrishu couldn't wait. He wanted to meet Pitashree's Gurudev. Vrishaketu heard the sound of another chariot behind him. He turned around. He saw Arjun, Krishna, and Abhimanyu cutting in close behind them. "Jyestha!" he yelled. "Yes?" Jyestha asked. "Full speed ahead, we have trouble," Vrishaketu said. The chariot suddenly went faster. It felt faster than the speed of light. Yet they still were on their tail.

Vrishaketu took his bow and started shooting at the chariot. Abhimanyu kept blocking his attacks. Vrishaketu's Kavach started to form. Vrishaketu aimed at Abhimanyu's thigh and shot his arrow. Now, on sky blue dhoti, there was a red gash. Arjun motioned for Abhimanyu to sit down. He then stood up and started shooting. Vrishaketu shot the wheel of the chariot before Arjun could shoot.

Krishna's chariot swayed until it broke. Vrishasena slowed the horses down a little. Vrishaketu watched as Abhimanyu stared after their chariot. Does he feel guilty about what he said to Bhrata Laxman?  Well, he should be! Now, Vrishu needed to ask Vrish if they could make a pit stop by Mahendragiri Hills. Vrishaketu looked around. Where are we?  "Bhratashree, where are we?" Vrishaketu asked. "I don't know, Vrishu," Vrishasena said. "Mitra, do you recognize this place?" Vrish asked Laxman. "No," Laxman said. "Lakshmana?" Vrishu asked. "I don't recognize it," Lakshmana said. They stopped to feed the horses, and then tried to figure out what mysterious place they were in.

Little did the Four Musketeers know that they were in Mahendragiri Hills, home of Bhagwan Parashuram.

Hi! How did you like the update?

The four kids will meet Parashuram soon! How will he react to Karna's death? In this version, Parshuram didn't know how Karna died.

Bye! Sincerely, Aadi.
