Kunti was in her chamber. She was constantly worrying about what was happening to her sons. The image of her firstborn fighting against his younger brothers made her heartache. She gazed at a lotus in a pond with other lotuses. What's so special about this lotus? One might say. Well, this lotus was fired by none other than Suryaputra Karna to welcome his mata. She kept staring at the lotus for 10 minutes, and then looked up. Kunti suddenly heard a sizzling sound. She looked down at the lotus and found it on fire. Her eyes widened. She said one word before heading out to the Kurukshetra battlefield, "Karna."

Karna POV
On the bloodstained battlefield of Kurukshetra, lay the firstborn of Kunti, Angaraj Radheya Suryaputra Karna. He held his breath hoping his mata would come. He started to close his eyes. She's not going to come. Great, just what Karna needed. Was he going to spend his last moments alone? Karna sighed. If only Pitashree Adhirath and Radha ma were here.
Karna closed his eyes. Might as well leave now. Karna coughed. That arrow had injured his throat badly. He groaned. Karna started to wonder whether he will go to heaven or hell. Hell for sure. I did many sins in my life. Karna abruptly heard a voice calling his name. It sounded familiar. He stayed silent until he worked out whose voice it was. Karn's eyes flew open. Using most of his strength he called out, "Mata?!"
Arjun POV
Arjun observed as his arch-rival lay on the dusty battleground of Kurukshetra. He and Madhav decided to stay and overlook his rival's death. Yes, it sounds cruel but he killed, no murdered his favorite son Abhimanyu. Yes, he admits it, Abhimanyu was his favorite. Arjun watched as his rival took painful breaths. Why is he feeling sad! He should be happy! His rival is dying. But Arjun felt an instant brotherly feeling when he glanced at the sutaputra.
Arjun suddenly heard a voice. A woman's voice. Arjun listened closely to the voice. Soon, he found it to be familiar. Mata! Why was mata here, crying by their enemy's body? Uneasiness spurred in Arjun's stomach. What is happening? Arjun saw them talking for 6 minutes straight. He saw his brothers approaching, and he joined them.
Ashwatthama POV
Ashwatthama rushed out to the battlefield. No, no, no, no! They had to use some sort of cheating. He can't be dead! Duryodhan was behind him. Tears were gushing from their eyes. "Hey, Brahmin! Are you crying? Do you need me to be your rational father now?" He remembered Karna's playful comments as clear as daylight. Out of the trio, Karna was the one that took care of them the most. "Ashwa, are you going somewhere?" Karna found out he had been secretly seeing his lover at night. "If you keep drinking, you're going to kill yourself!" Karna being the rational parent of the group. Ashwatthama started to feel dizzy and he fell on his knees.
Karna's words were echoing in his head. One particularly shook him. "I'm with you till the end." This can't be the end. Please, be alive! His head was spinning. Duryodhan's worried voice knocked him back into reality. "Ashwa?!" he nervously said. "H-H-He said h-he w-will be with us till the e-e-end, Duryo. How could we lose him?!" Ashwatthama sobbed, loudly. "We need to find his body, do his last rites!" Duryodhan said, his voice hoarse. Ashwa nodded as stood up. They walked the rest of the way. The friends both offering support to each other.
Karna POV
"Angaraj Karna is your Jyestha Bhrata"
Karna watched as his brothers stared in shock at the truth of his birth. Yudhisthir fell to his knees, Bheem's eyes widened, Arjun looked as if he were about to collapse, Nakul became pale, and Sahadev put his hands on his head and wept. "Mata, you have committed a grave sin," Yudhisthir said, with fury in his eyes.
"N-No" Karna stuttered. "You threw a merit in the water like it was a sin! You gave him nothing but a life of sins!" Yudhisthir shouted, ignoring Karna's plea. "Will my younger brothers do one last thing for me?" Karna asked.
