𝟮 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙧

( Maya POV )

I woke up at 6:30 am, as usual I woke up other girls, got changed into my robes and brushed my long brown hair. As I was ready to go to the great hall I was still think about yesterday, the train and about the new professor. The professor whit same last name as me, my name is Maya Nova Lupin.
I decided that I should go to Dumbledore' office and comfort him about this.
I have about 15 more minutes before the breakfast so I just went for it.

I was in front of his offic "lemon drop"as I walked in I felt really stupid bc I didn't tell Dumbledore that I'm coming.
Thankfully he was there siting in his chair looking through some papers and wasn't too surprised to see.

"Well hello Miss Lupin"I heard him saying still not taking his eyes of papers "Morning Professor"
I didn't really know how to start the conversation so I was just stand there looking at the floor , god the silence was really awkward I tough "why are you here Miss Lupin, as you know the breakfast starts in 10 minutes"
I looked at him and relaxed " I know Professor but yesterday at the feast  you introduced a new professor and said that his last name is Lupin so I was wondering if me and him are umm...by any chance related"  the last part I said really  quiet, almost as a whisper as if is forbidden of me to say that or something .

Dumbledore finally looked at me and put the paper down and just started at me for few seconds making me nervous about what is he gonna say "take a seat Miss Lupin" I didn't hesitate and immediately took a seat waiting for him to tell me the answer for my questions "lemon drop?" I heard him say "no tank you" I 'm trying to be polite bc after all I have breakfast in few minutes.

"So are me and him related" I asked again but this time more serious "yes you are"

My heart dropped, for hot seconds I forgot how to breathe, I didn't know what emotions to show because I was happy that I finally found someone form my family but I was also angry because Dumbledore didn't tell me , I was also confused and scared and I just had so many questions . I didn't realize I zoned out for few seconds which felt like minutes but decided to ask Dumbledore "so what is he to me"

"He is your father"

Oh Merlin wtf did i just heard

"my father" I muttered to my self  "why didn't you tell me that before I'm sure you knew this from beginning" I asked looking at my lap still in shock "look Miss Lupin the breakfast starts in 5 minutes you should get going ,we will talk later after dinner if you want to know more" he said as stand up and was about to leave to go to the great hall "wait Professor does he know that I'm his daughter" he looked over at me and put a small shy smile "no he thinks you you died on the Halloween night" I put a smile on my face and told him "tank you for telling me Professor"
"Always"

As I enter the grade hall and got to the Gryffindor table I was meet up whit two read heads
"were have you been-"
"we though that you were still in bed-"
"we were waiting for you in the common room"
"And then Hermione told us you weren't in bed and that you already left"
"So were have you been"
"I'm so sorry mother's that I got you worried but I was whit Dumbledore talking" I smirked at them "you already got yourself in trouble ?" I heard Fred say that "no" I answered "then why were you whit Dumbledore?" George said "did you listen yesterday when Dumbledore introduce us to our new professor" I asked calmly but both of then nodded no, and I just singh "do one of you know his name?"  And again they both nodded no "but why do you ask we are gonna only call him Professor so it doesn't really mather now dose it George" George nodded in agreement

"Well let me inform you his last name is Lupin"

They both looked at me whit wide eyes "so does that mean that he's your umm aaa... are you tow related" Fred choked out "yes I just found out" George started choking on his drink "bloody hell, dose he know" George managed to say "well apparently no, he thinks I died that night when I was put in orphanage " well are you gonna tell him" I didn't really think about that "maybe idk I didn't think about that" I said "well is your choice so we're here for support"  I smile " tank you guys"  I told them as i but some scrambled eggs and two toast in my plate "and btw I'm meeting Dumbledore again today after dinner to tell me more about my dad" I said whit full mouth of scrambled eggs "that's super tell us after what did you find out" they both said in singing voice , and I just chuckled

The good thing is that I don't have defense against dark arts till friday which means that I have more time to think about the whole situation with him I tough
