Are we friends now

HIII LUVS <333 I hope you are all doing wonderful and healthy but anyway into the chapter!!!!

(Jaxx POV) I had been roommates with this guy for a while but had never really got the chance to know him. I decided now was the time considering the fact he got punched for me. I explained how I had social anxiety and why, he seemed surprised but excepting. To be honest it was really hard for me to not talk to him, I mean look at this guy he was so cute. I don't know if he's gay though so I can't get my hopes up, I was surprised that he knew my name so I asked how and he said that I had dropped my student ID which said my name on it. I am not very good with people so I didn't know where to take the conversation so I said "what's your name," he smiled at me and said "Sora." What an awesome name I thought, we continued to talk for a bit until we got back to our room. It was pretty late by then so we both went to bed.

The next morning

(Sora POV) It was now morning and I was up and getting ready for the day. I walked out into our common area and Jaxx was right there, he had made breakfast. School was starting soon we ate quickly and went out to go do our classes. My class was super boring and I almost fell asleep 3 times but was able to keep myself awake with the thought that me and Jaxx might be friends.

Class was over and I walked into the area to eat lunch. I saw Jaxx standing by himself so I walked over and said "hi," he quickly perked up and we started a conversation. I didn't know why but when I talked to Jaxx it felt like I could just say anything, I felt like he was the only person in the world I could be myself with. Our conversation continued as a normal conversation would go until I couldn't handle but blurt out "are we friends now??" I covered my mouth super quickly embarrassed by how desperate I sounded but was quickly happy ans relived when he put his hand on my shoulder and  said "if you want to be." I nodded swiftly as I felt blush spread across my face. I couldn't wait to see where our friendship would go.
