Recap

I gently rested the shard onto my soft skin and run it against my skin. I'm a victim.

~~~~~
"So you comin' after school?" Libby asked ever so excitedly. I thought about and then relented. She squealed in delight as she cleaned her glasses. I shook my head at her as I smiled. 'Childish' couldn't express her. 'Immature'? Kind of. Most likely childish and immature.
I took my seat next to a blonde guy. I rested my head on the table, not wanting anyone to notice. Thankfully, no one has noticed the scar and hopefully no one does. I groaned softly to myself. Little did I know, the dude next to me heard me.
"You 'kay?" His voice ringed in my ears like a monotone, although it was just two words. I just kept quiet and still.
"Niall Horan" he introduced himself even if I wasn't even asking for his name.
"Mmhmm.." I answered him back still not moving an inch.
We kept our distance and didn't start a conversation. All I could think about was how Libby's brother would look like. I forgot his name though. I think he would act like his sister, childishly immature.
~~~~~

The school bell rang. I waited outside the gate for Libby when I bumped into an old friend of mine, Or my ex, Luke. Yes, I had a boyfriend. We broke up three years ago because my family parted and my stepmom didn't want to see him again. We lost connection after a few days because he moved to a new school. He's got a new girlfriend,new friends but still the old career. A youtuber/singer he's gone so far unlike me, still stuck with a stupid family.

"Hey Ally.." He said as he looked to the ground.

I just smiled as a blush rose to my cheeks. I still love him eventhough he's got a girlfriend, Arya. I love Arya too. She's pretty and very talented. That girl could put her whole fist in her mouth!

"How's you family?" He asked, a little nervous for the answer.

"Still the same as three years ago. How's you and janoskians and Arya?"

"We're good and Arya and I are... Okay?"

"That sound unconfident Mr. Brooks! Don't you guys feel awesome together? Cos honestly speaking, you're a perfect couple!" I smiled as I looked up at him.

He chuckled and looked up at me. His gorgeous brown eyes glimmered under the sun. His smile warmed my heart with the bigger welcome I've seen in three years. The feeling of wanted. But all that faded away when he noticed my scar.

"What happened there?" He queried.

"Nothing." I lied.

He knew that wasn't a good response but still went with it because he knows I don't want to talk about it. That's one thing I truely love about him.

"Well.. I guess we'll catch up later. I need to meet up with the guys." He said shyly.

That made me drop my heart a 100 floors down. I wanted him to stay with me longer. I want his warmth. But I need to let him go. He's not mine anymore, although I wish he was...

We waved goodbye as we awkwardly parted. I walked towards the bus stop and met Libby there.

"What took you so long? I waited here for 15 minutes!" She shouted at me.

My god. Did we really take that long?

"Nuh-in" I just replied with a smile as we entered the bus.

All in my head now was Luke. I missed him so much but I knew I had to let him go. I just wish that I could find a man as kind and loyal a he is. Maybe someday..
