Recap
All of us ran into the room and played hide and seek because we were immature and got bored. That was until, I got a phone call.
~~~~~
"Should I answer it?" I asked them as we huddled together and my phone was in the middle.
"I don't know. Who do you you think it is?" Jade asked. We all shrugged. Those numbers stayed in my head.
1-800-6567-****
Who could that be? I'm not such a social person and I don't get numbers that much.
"Maybe you should ignore it. It's probably a prank call," Perrie was obviously pissed by the buzzing noise.
"No! Pick it up! I wanna know who it is! Pick it up!!!" Libby probably knocked the drums out of my ears. I closed my ears. Damn that girl is loud.
I followed my guts and answered the call.
"H.. Hel-lo?" I stuttered. I had a habit of stuttering when it comes to talking to strangers.
"Hey.. Is this Ally?" The other person on the other line spoke. I knew that voice. It sounded really familiar.
"Y.. Yeah.. It... Is..." I really had to work on my projection too. My voice was practically to soft for him to hear. But never the less, he did.
"Uh... Great! It's me! Jai! I've been trying to call you for minutes. Anyway, this is my new number. And The Janoskians are going to make another video later and uh... I was hoping you could come just for this video!" The guy who now I realised was Jai said.
I breathed out a sigh of relief. Jai was my best friend for like, ever! That was until me and Luke broke up. But why would he invite me after my stepmom practically broke us apart.
"Sure. And can my friends come along?" I asked still not forgetting my friends who were trying to listen hard against my ear to listen to the convo.
"Um... The video is kind of private. I'm really sorry"
"Nah. It fine. So where and when?"
"The Bonsai lake. Now."
Now? Why now?
"Cool! I'll be there!" I said without thinking.
Well, stupidity.
"Great! I'll meet you there!" He squealed in delight.
And with that, we ended the call.
"Who was that?" Perrie asked right after I put down the call.
"Just an old friend of mine wanting to meet up. I gotta go. I guess I'll meet you guys and Neil tomorrow!" I told them as I packed my stuff into my bag. Correction, dumped.
"Alright then. And by the way, it's Niall!" Jade told me.
I ran down the steps and out the door. Well, I guess I won't meet Neil or Nail or Nal today. Man, I can't get his name right
