The next few days were hectic for Brielle. She spent her mornings and afternoons with Newsies, her evenings shopping and furnishing her new apartment, and her nights getting homework done. She was finishing her senior year of high school this year, just like a few other newsies. Throughout the next few rehearsals, Brielle had gotten to know the rest of her cast a lot better. She also discovered that she was the youngest in the cast by just a month, other than Lewis and Matthew who played Les. She very quickly grew close with Ben, as well as Tommy Bracco who played Spot, and Ryan Steele who played Specs. Brielle and Jeremy hit it off right away. They were practically best friends after just a couple of rehearsals. Brielle also got closer to Laurie, and they already cleared with Jeff that they could share a dressing room once they moved to the theater.
As for the apartment, Kate and Brielle finished it in about a week, only buying furniture that was ready to receive immediately. Laurie had insisted on helping to decorate the apartment, and Brielle was very impressed with how it turned out.
