Chapter 2

" you have to see Karah.." king Heziah

the king's face showed concerned and worried. His daughter wasn't acting normally. He wanted to ask Gandal about it but knew he was busy with his wife. Seeming to have understood the king's worries, Hakubah went alert.

"yes my lord, come in ...!" Hakubah

Then Hakuba started to ask and show her so many things while the king had his mind a float...

" My lord, I need to talk to you - privately I mean ..." Hakubah

The king nodded and when they were alone in his study , leaving Nh'karah in the care if the servants.

" My lord, your daughter... s-she's a seer ... she sees things that happened and the things that are still going to happen." Hakubah

the king did not know what to do, he knew what that would mean. He knew that someday it would be a different world for Nh'karah. She might be like his sister who ran away because she was afraid she have seen something bad. He did not want it to happen to his daughter.

"Is there a way to somehow control it? " king Heziah

" It cannot be controlled my lord ... what we have to do is to teach her on how to respond on what she see... She is smart too . I know she will make a good seer..." Hakubah

"Life will be hard for her but I see she's a strong girl... she will make it .." King Heziah
after speaking to Hakubah they both returned to the queen's chamber and found Gandal with the baby . The king had his 5th daughter. No longer disappointed , the king happily cradles the baby in his arms. He named the baby Kajol ... as symbol of him being proud about his 5th daughter.

4 years later

After thorough examination... Hakubah decided to make Nh'karah his apprentice in his laboratory.

Queen Mumtaz again got pregnant, but this time the king did not feel anything. he did not even wish for a boy. He knew he would have one someday.

He was no longer very disappointed to have all daughters, since Nh'karah and Jahanar loved to play duel , horse racing and even target arrow shooting. they were both good fighters . Nh'karah became close to the Knight who found her and became her master in dueling and combat fighting.

This time Karah, is already 8 and has a good view on how the world revolves around her. It was time already for her mother to give birth... Queen Mumtaz is of age already and she is becoming weak. Gandal decided to have 7 assistants with him this time... the king was worried too. He wished that the baby would be safe and so is his wife...

Nimweh came home from King Oddin's Kingdom to see her laboring mother... they were all there ... the king, Nimweh, Hajah, Jahanar, Nh'karah, and Kajol.

they were all worried. Praying that their mother would be safe... that their baby sister or brother would be safe...
they heard a cry and they were all relieved ...
Gandal came out with a smile saying it was a girl... they all smiled and looked happy.. just then they heard there mother shout with pain ... Gandal came back inside inside and they all are worried ... this time they feared their mother couldn't make it.

later they heard another cry... Gandal couldn't make it to the door to shout the news...
"Its a BOY!!!! they're twins!!! the first was a girl... and the last is a BOY !!!!" Gandal

Everyone rejoiced ... must specially the king... He had been waiting for this moment ... there it was .. His own son...
the kingdom rejoiced the whole month for the twins' name day ... The king named them the twins Anida and Jabin ...

out from the knowledge of the king, the challenge is about to begin ... He did not know that a lot of other kingdoms wanted his throne since they knew that he only had daughters. They were furious knowing the Queen gave birth to the heir.. they sent an assassin to kill the young boy as soon as possible.

on the 5th month from when the twins were born... Karah had the dream... she saw a man in black holding a dagger that is about to be pierced to her brothers heart... she shouted with terror and her servant Nahal came running towards her bed...
"What is wrong my princess? Did you have a nightmare?" Nahal

"I have to see my brother's chamber..." Nh'karah

"But it is in the middle of the night and we probably might disturb the prince's sleep ..." Nahal

"We have to ho there .. this is important... you have to wake my sister Jahan ... meet me at my brother's chamber... Now!" Nh'karah

they both parted there ways towards the hall.. Nh'karah arrived in there seeing that Nizam the Palace guard was lying in the floor Sleeping... she ran as fast as she could to see what happened... She opened the door and saw a man in black holding a dagger shocked while looking at her... She did not scream she just pulled the bell rope placed in the door that is attached to the kitchen... She knew it would call attention... The man seemed to panic by her action and started to walk towards her... holding the dagger...

"Idiot!!! you have to kill me if you plan to stab me with that... too bad you forgot to wear your mask... Make sure your not from this place because I'll hunt you down... " Nh'karah

"Stop acting like you can fight me... I am old enough and big enough to smash you like a pumpkin" the masked man said while smirking...

" I know... and I know i cant fight you enough to kill you... that's why ---" Nh'karah

She stopped talking and ran fast as she could towards her sister and her brother ... she pulled there blankets and wrapped them close .. she held them and started to face the man just 5 steps away from them... She smilled ...

"NOW!" Jahanar
She was entering the doorway with 6 Knights at her back... they attacked the man and pinned him down the floor ... just in time the servant from the kitchen came in with a questioning look... Karah came close to him still pulling the twins from the wrapped blanket...
All the knights and Jahanar were seriously looking at her. even Nahal gave her a questioning look... She just smiled at the servant and took a plate of biscuits from his serving tray and started munching them while making his sister and brother laught from her giggles...

"Karah!!!!!! , how many times do I have to tell you try to act seriously when your brother and sister is in danger.." Jahanar

"I was ,,, but they're safe already... you got the man ... you'll just have to help Nizam outside who was sleeping... leave 4 Knights in the outside door.. one inside ... here with us... And for the record you don't have to wake father and mother... they'll know it by morning... Interrogate this man here and vallah ... I can eat my cookies..." Nh'karah

" Sometimes I start to wonder whose older... me or you... you act like a child often but sometimes you act like father .. even older than father...!!!" Jahanar

" Thats why its sometimes Jahan... " Nh'karah
She said while smiling playfully.. She knew it was serious, knew it was a dangerous act.. She almost lost his brother and sister had she been late to arrive at the room... She was scared but she wanted to show Jahan she can be dependable...

Jahanar gave up on arguing with her sister , for some reason Karah was right... She instructed the guards to help Nizam , and to guard the chamber... She knew Karah would never leave the twins so she went to the 3 remaining Knights holding the assassin... Nh'karah may be good at pulling strings. but Jahanar is best at pulling answers, she's going to extract the information from the assassin, by hook or by crook.
