Chapter 17: War of the worlds

Silhouette walks casually with his hands on his back over the front plaza of the Capitol. The fires at the Capitol and at the other part of the City are still burning.

It may look like that he was calm, but that couldn't be further from the truth...

The President of the United States and the entire head of the U.S Government was assassinated and annihilated by the Irken Alien Invaders.

Silhouette thought he could use the President as his puppet later on after Majestic gained more power inside the U.S Government.
But even that part of Majestic's plan to build a new American century was destroyed by this Irken threat.

The head of Majestic was now planning their next move... Dib on the other hand was freaking out, more then usual.

D: "Silhouette! This has gone far enough! We need to go into the offensive instead of planning traps!"

The leader of Majestic turns around to face the paranormal investigator,

S: "And you have an idea?"

This was a good question. What DO you do in such a situation?

D: "Well.... uh...."

S: "Mr. Membrane, doesn't your father work on a new Generation of Tesla coils? Bigger more powerful versions we could actually use as weapons?"

Ah yes. The newest 'invention' of Professor Membrane, the Tesla Coil MK II. Normaly used for energy transportation, but it CAN be used as an Offensive weapon if someone could control the power surge.

D: "Well... yes. But i don't think my dad wou-"

Silhouette didn't even let him finish,

S: "Then it's settled. Some of my Agents will bring those prototypes to Capitol City-"

D: "H-hey! Wait a mome-"

S: "-and then install them around the City as our newest defense system."

D: "Silhouette, please. I really don't want my dad to be involved in all of this."

S: "Mr. Membrane... your father and his inventions became involved in 'all of this' the moment you accepted our help and became part of Majestic."

D: "Bu-"

S: "You also will help our Engineers to install our new defense system, understood?"

There is really nothing Dib can do. He brought himself into this mess. He weakly nodded his head.

D: "Yes, Silhouette..."

S: "Good."

Silhouette turns around and wanted to leave, but Dib stopped him,

D: "Wait, one last thing."

Silhouette turns around again,

D: "What do you think will happen next?"

Silhouette looks at the big headed paranormal investigator,

S: "I think you know the answer, Mr. Membrane."

With that said, Silhouette turns around and left,

D: "Oh boy..."
