"Come here," Donny asked me. "Me," I asked "Yeah I'd say you ask too many questions, but as we say here there are never too many questions," Donny said. I walk up to him and he pulls my face close as he takes notes. Donny suddenly puts a chord to my eye as it begins to shape and the USB plug-in opens up. "Bingo," Donny said. Suddenly an alarm goes off. Another person in white goes to the main computer. "A signal from the resistborg," She said "No," she said Donny pushed her over. "Get the red team," he said "What's going on Donny?" I asked Donny, who glared at me. I looked away, "We're at war thanks to you cyborg," Donny said slamming the keyboard. I felt insulted. "I DIDN'T DO THIS" I yelled."I know," Donny sighed, "tracking chips have gotten stronger and more sophisticated," Donny said as he looked at his computer. "We're not going to win," the girl said. "Unless we come up with that virus," Donny said. He stuck the USB in my eye. I feel a sharp pain in my eye as it brings info into it. "I think our job just got easier only if our host is willing," he said as Donny yanked out the plug I rub my eye. "You don't have to do this, there is another way but we can use you to plant the virus and stop the war," he said "but it'll shut you off," he said. I wanted to know how it works. I wanted to know the other way but I was walked out the door and sent to my room. I didn't want to shut off but what was going to happen suddenly a girl green walks in. She is short and plump with glasses and she smiles "I've been requested to see you today Mr. Marcus" she said.
I nod. "Are you here to answer my question?" I asked. "I do have information but I'm here to help you with your emotions," she said. I looked up and I wanted to know everything about the virus. "I want to know what it'll take to get the virus to the main computer" I barked. The girl opens a book "Yes there are two ways you're connected to the computer so we could inject the virus in you and it'll go to the main computer." she said I thought they took that part out of me "wait I thought you took the chip out my head" I asked. "Yes but they can see your life signs," she said. I nod that I felt violated by this retaliation. "The second way to get the virus in the system is going to the system and putting in a sort of chip but it's risky if someone could guard the compound," she said. "So it's everyone else's life or mine," I said "Yes," she said "I want you to think about this Marcus because it's a life-changing deciduous and it rests in your hands' sweetie," she said. She walked away just as she reached the door and she looked back and said. "Remember the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" she walks off head across the hall. I walk over to the cafeteria and grab a brunch with a croissant sausage and egg. I drank a mimosa. They warned me not to drink too much. I had one I didn't feel much different but the taste was rather strange. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. I'd heard it before but only in pure life psychology class. I see people sit down, I wave and smile showing me big sharp teeth. They all walk off. My table was empty. People, we're still terrified of me even after 3 days. It didn't help that I brought upon a war. I put my plate up and then I go to the showers. Nobody was there, nobody but veronica.
I stood next to her "you look like shit" she said bluntly "I know" I replied in fear. "Wow, you agree with me, what a shock," she said as she washed her arms. "What do you do if you're the cause of a genocidal war between two people?" I panicked. Veronica sighs "Ok look it's not your fault you didn't get told you're a puppet but still maybe not use all the hot water," she said I start to wash up. "So what are you going to do cyborg," she asked. I had no idea what she was talking about. "What are you?" "Are you going to live or die?" she asked. I thought about that quote: the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Was I the few? There were the people who I'd grown to trust, the many. "These are my last days Veronica," I said. She looked at me and smiled "You know I think I can respect a cyborg-like you who bets off you've proven yourself to me," she said she turned off her shower and walked off then I turned off mine. I spray my eye with the anti-rust spray then sit down in the room. I put on my clothing then sit quietly. A boy in blue walks in "Rumor has it you're going to save us" he asked I nod feeling strange. "So what's your dying wish?" he asked. I had no idea what that was. "I don't know," I replied. I looked out the window and I wanted to know what it was like when it was dark. "I want to know what the outside is like in the darkness," I said. He smiles "I'll find someone to take you," he said Just as he left two people said "I'll take him" It was Aiden and veronica. Aiden smiled. Aiden "I've never seen the stars I figured before I go to war I'd see the stars" I nod we all walk outside the sun was still high "the sun is a star," Veronica said "it's eight light-years from us" she went on. "So when do the stars come out," I asked "not for a while," Veronica said "we should get some coffee," Aiden said Veronica nods as we walk inside into the cafe and all get a drink of coffee I get something called frappuccino it's sweet icy.
