Hello, it's Amian here, a second-time ONC participant. The first time around when I participated in this, my story was absolutely not fantasy (in spite of being medieval) and ended up being more about political relationships than anything and so this time around, I'm going for a different route.
Though, while we are on the subject, feel free to check out The Heir and the Hunter which is being expanded into a full novel (very slowly though).
With this story, I intend to explore mythological creatures, specifically ones that have contributed to the making of our (in)famous modern vampire. Mythology, in general, is something that has always interested me deeply. I grew up with tales of creatures from Hindu mythology and discovered the richly mythological world of Greeks and Romans on my own. And so, it's only fitting that I write something that incorporates my interest whilst still being fun to read. Hopefully, you'll decide to join along with me in this journey as well.
